It has been clear for quite some time that senile Joe Biden is not really running the country, but that’s hardly comforting when you consider the people he’s placed in top roles. How is everything going so badly on the geopolitical front, and why do we keep provoking Russia? It can all be traced to those who are really in charge, and economist Martin Armstrong recently identified some top Biden administration officials whose behavior he likens to treason.

He points out that both U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland and U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken have Ukrainian Jewish heritage and family histories associated with persecution by Russians. This, he believes, explains why the administration has been so steadfast in its support for this very expensive war.

Garland, who was appointed by Biden in January 2021, was raised in Conservative Judaism and his family’s last name was previously Garfinkel. His mother worked for Chicago’s Council for Jewish Elderly, and his grandparents fled antisemitic pogroms in modern-day Ukraine and Poland.

Garland has also been using his power to support Ukraine, helping them investigate war crimes and giving the green light for the transfer of millions of dollars of forfeited funds from Russian oligarch Konstantin Malofeyev to be used in Ukraine.

Armstrong points out that Garland’s pursuit of prosecuting Trump is a preemptive move because if he retakes office, they will be out of a job in short order. Blinken, meanwhile, has been a prominent figure in supporting Jewish people and Israel. His great-grandfather, Meir Blinken, was born in the Russian Empire in what is now Ukraine and moved to the U.S. when he was 25.
