While he was greeting supporters at a recent public gathering, Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico nearly died after someone(s) fired five shots from a gun at him in an apparent assassination attempt.
One of the bullets struck Fico's stomach, reports indicate, but his condition since has improved. Still, "he is not out of the woods yet," Fico himself told the media in the aftermath.
For a few weeks now, Fico said he has had an intuition that something like this might happen. The reason has to do with his stance on sending more aid to Ukraine, which is vehemently opposes.
Because Fico is going against the grain on the Ukraine issue, he essentially made himself a target. Fico was also, by the way, vehemently opposed to the entire Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) "pandemic" narrative, which he believes was and is a total lie.
In the aftermath of COVID, Fico promised that he would investigate "politicians and their meaningless purchases of medical devices and vaccines and we reject the WHO treaty," he is quoted as saying.

The report touts the proposed changes in nice-sounding terminology that claims food production will continue in such a way as "to feed a growing population." The blunder began years before February 2022. Putin failed to realize that the US was preparing the overthrow of the Ukraine government. When the overthrow began, Putin took no action to prevent the overthrow. Instead, Russia permitted Washington to take over the former province of the Russian state.
A hostile Ukraine is an existential threat to Russia. Why did Russia stand aside and permit Washington’s takeover? Why did Russia sit for the next 8 years on its hands, rejecting the votes of the independent Donbas republics to be reunited with Russia from which they were torn by Soviet leaders and stuck in Ukraine? The culprit in these strategic blunders was the Kremlin’s lack of realism. Putin relied on diplomacy despite the fact that Washington relies on threats, bribes, and coercion. The Kremlin simply did not understand that with the Minsk Agreement it was saddling a dead horse that could go nowhere.
When Putin was finally forced to intervene by the prospect that the inhabitants of Russian Donbas were about to be slaughtered like Palestinians in Gaza today, Putin failed to respond decisively. Still playing all by himself a diplomatic game, he insisted that there be no Russian invasion of Ukraine, only a “special military operation” to clear hostile Ukrainian forces from Donbas. Lost in a diplomatic world that no longer exists, Putin failed to realize that regardless of what he said or did, Western propaganda would present the intervention as a reconstruction of the Soviet Empire that would extend to all of Europe.
It was immediately obvious that the limited and slow-paced “special military operation” would provide Washington and its NATO puppets abundant time to become involved in the conflict, thus endlessly widening the conflict until the conflict became an existential issue for Russia. The day was really quite beautiful, and the drink facilitated some deep thinking. My wife walked by and asked me what I was doing, and I said, “Nothing.” The reason I said “nothing” instead of saying “just thinking” is because she then would have asked, “About what?” At that point I would have had to explain that men are deep thinkers about various topics, which would lead to other questions.
Finally I pondered an age old question: Is giving birth more painful than getting kicked in the nuts? Women always maintain that giving birth is way more painful than a guy getting kicked in the nuts, but how could they know? Well, after another beer, and some more heavy deductive thinking, I have come up with an answer to that question. Getting kicked in the nuts is more painful than having a baby, and even though I obviously couldn’t really know, here is the reason for my conclusion: A year or so after giving birth, a woman will often say, “It might be nice to have another child.” But you never hear a guy say, “You know, I think I would like another kick in the nuts.” I rest my case. Time for another beer. Then maybe a nap.

They sell the Treasuries because they are getting out of dollar reserves. As they don’t want the Treasuries, they don’t want the dollars in cash or any other form, so they sell the dollars for other currencies or use them to buy gold.
China has about 800 billion dollars of US Treasuries left to sell. As China sells and as countries use other means of settling trade balances than the US dollar, the demand for US Treasuries and dollar-denominated financial instruments will decline. The Federal Reserve can stabilize the price of Treasuries by creating money with which to buy the bonds, but the Fed can’t create foreign currencies with which to purchase the dollars. The problem becomes a dollar problem.
As the world demand for dollars diminishes, so does the dollar’s value. As US manufactured goods are produced offshore and as the US imports food, US inflation will be a consequence of dollar decline. Tariffs also restrict supply, raise prices, and further reduce the dollar’s purchasing power. The tariffs being imposed on goods imported from China are thus counterproductive.
Inflation and dollar decline mean no lowering of interest rates. Instead, US interest rates will rise. The morons ruling us are destroying their own power base and the living standards of the US population. There is not a single person in “our” government with enough sense to be there.
The pending US financial crisis described in The Great Taking is indeed pending. We are perfectly set up for it.

And let’s not forget our censor-like behaviour regarding Covid and the vaccine. NPR bleated that they were still diverse in political opinion, but researchers found that all 87 reporters at NPR were Democrats. Then it is accepted to get the politicians out of a jam, and the next thing you know is that the Rube Goldberg, crazy idea is being funded.
This unbelievable scenario is what has happened with getting humanitarian aid into Gaza for the starving survivors of the Israeli genocide of Gaza. Instead of U.S. President Joe Biden marking a red line in the Israel/Gaza/Egypt sand demanding that Israel allow into Gaza the miles of tractor-trailer loads of food and medicine that have been stalled for months at the Rafah border crossing, Biden's inept diplomatic team sent out a plea for help to the U.S. military.
