What do you think Mr. Herzog is saying here? There are two very different ways this can be interpreted. The first way has the Jews as Villains and the second way has the Jews as victims. What is your interpretation and what is your purpose in quoting this here? What relationship do you see between Germany in the past and what is happening today in the USA and the world? Just curious to see where your head is at.
i've always liked herzog's efforts including his movies. first he is speaking of the 'positions' of the citizens, and knowing lots of germans from those days, i concur though watching citizens here with various 'burning issues' the percentages easily travel across borders. as for the joos, from my studies of history and living on the planet, i'd say there may be a similar division of joos into three groups as well. the rothschild variety are the total villains, the next level would be the garden variety of crooked business type and the third level would be the common folk who are subject to the same variations the rest of us are. as for germany after versailles to 1945, the empire can easily have comparisons drawn though it appears the empire learned some from the german's mistakes but is making new ones as a thinking individual would expect. and i post items i find out of the mundane and things that aught to be alarming, plus items to give some the opportunity to get their mind working.
