 Most of the people who voted for Trump thought they were voting for things that they believed – with some justification – would make America better, such as getting the rampant inflation triggered by “COVID” (specifically, by “COVID” stimulus checks) under control, lower – not higher – gas prices and a focus on this country’s problems rather than Israel’s problems. These are all reasonable (and so, unobjectionable) things. Nothing “radical” about them at all. In fact, they are remarkably modest asks that would not have been incongruent with the Democrat Party of the 1960s.

Most Americans just wanted a better life than the life they’d been living ever since “COVID” pretty much ruined everything. They voted for Trump in 2024 because they thought he might actually do what he said he was going to do. Or at least, led them to believe he was going to do. This does not make them bad people. Nor does it impugn the things they’d hoped for. The problem is that Trump is a very bad person who has managed to singlehandedly impugn everything they’d hoped for. He has made a mockery out of MAGA, which is now embodied by the AI-generated mascot of MAGA named Chudley – an obese imbecile who always finds a way to make excuses for whatever Trump does.

Nikole Hannah-Jones is the New York Times writer who created the historically inaccurate ‘1619 Project’ which claimed that the United States was founded on slavery.

Despite being a woman of significant wealth, Hannah-Jones decided to send her daughter to a failing New York City school, because she wanted to make a point about education, race and politics. She thought that the school would be better if she and her daughter were involved with it.

Now her daughter is growing up and is asking her tough questions. She is resentful that her mother sent her to this school when things could have been so different.

Secretary Bessent notes President Trump is not going to deliver liability immunity to AI frontier labs and existing legal frameworks within the U.S. will remain as protective pathways as development moves from AI labs into engineering outcomes.

This is the core of the issue. The investors that poured money into the AI labs, now support immunity from legal liability that doesn’t exist in any other sector other than Big Pharma. The media claim that President Trump has removed their First Amendment rights by revoking their special White House access cards, seats on Airforce One and privilege tents on the white house grounds.  Apparently, if the media don’t get the luxuries of influence they claim their rights are removed – or something equally stupid.

No modern president has made himself more available, more open, more visible in every format than U.S President Donald Trump.  He literally takes the entire U.S. audience into every cabinet meeting, every Airforce One journey and every event with unscripted, impromptu remarks and open availability.  This is one of the reasons the media hate him so much.

President Trump makes the media irrelevant.  What do you need them for, when everything he does is right there for you to review entirely on your own.  It’s as if President Trump wears a livestreaming body camera.  However, this level of transparency and openness means the media guardians cannot easily fabricate or script events. With fewer opportunities to make up stuff, they get bolder with the outrageous examples of the things they do fabricate.

Second solid point surrounds diesel fuel.  For the past 30-years the same media that is now claiming a dire situation as a result of diesel fuel prices, are the same media who said diesel fuel was destroying the planet.  If their Paris Climate Policy advocacy was genuine, they would be celebrating a diesel shortage.  However, the Green New Deal has destroyed expanded diesel production, so now we are at a point where there is no excess production or capacity...........more.............

The Drone War

On Sunday, Ukraine launched a barrage of drone attacks on Moscow, killing civilians and damaging a vital refinery that supplies diesel, according to Russian officials. Russian state media said the military downed about 500 drones that approached Moscow, providing a glimpse into the magnitude of Ukrainian drone swarm attacks, which have been frustrating Russia all year. In total, the Russians say, Ukraine fired more than 1,000 drones in that one attack.

Ukraine’s weekend barrage came after intense Russian strikes on Kiev that also destroyed infrastructure and injured civilians, per reports.

Ukraine struck Russia just as Moscow was holding its version of elections. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky bragged about the attack in a social media post.  “Our long-range responses had a very significant impact in the Moscow region last night. One of Russia’s key oil industry facilities and the aggressor’s logistics facility were hit,” he said. “These are billions of dollars that sustain the war machine.”

On Monday, Russia retaliated with a wave of drone attacks of its own, this time on the southern Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia. It also hit carriers or port infrastructure in Odessa and Izmail. The day before, it hit a radio electronics plant and data center on Kiev, per the Russians.

Effect on Global Energy

The war’s effect on global energy prices appears to be the most important thing at the moment for U.S. President Donald Trump. The president is facing intense political backlash over rising fuel prices at home and abroad. “Russia has unfortunately lost control of its Diesel Oil Industry due to its War with Ukraine,” he said in a Truth Social post on Sunday. “A large number of their Diesel refineries have been blown up and are, at least temporarily, out of commission. This ridiculous and never ending War with Ukraine must be ended. The whole World suffers as 25,000 people, mostly soldiers, are being killed each month.”...........more..........

Russia’s sour crude does not vanish when its refineries burn. It gets loaded onto tankers and sold, as crude, to India and China, whose refiners run it into diesel instead — Indian purchases of Russian crude have roughly doubled, Chinese ESPO imports keep climbing. The molecules keep moving; the refining simply relocates. What Ukraine destroys is Russia’s refining margin, not the world’s diesel supply.

Trump laid the accusation out on September 13, on his own golf course in Doonbeg, Ireland, two days after US diesel cleared six dollars a gallon for the first time in history. He had found the culprit. It was not Iran. It was not the Strait of Hormuz. It was Volodymyr Zelensky. Zelensky “has to stop knocking out diesel fuel in Russia,” Trump told reporters; he could “go after targets, but not diesel fuel.” And then, removing any ambiguity about where he was pinning the blame: the shortage “isn’t done by the Middle East.”

That last clause is the tell, and it is false. To see why, you have to understand two things Trump either does not grasp or is counting on you not to: what kind of crude Russia actually produces, and where the world’s diesel is really made. According to this perception of reality, Donald Trump was once America’s savior—a champion of the people, a warrior for freedom and against powerful interests, and the president of peace. But then something happened. He was compromised in his second term. He stopped caring and started selling out. Their hero fell from grace to join the swamp he once worked to drain. He abandoned America First principles to bow to Israel and AIPAC. He sold out to Big Tech, and he betrayed the MAHA crowd (to name a few examples).

I’ve seen countless expressions of this sentiment across social media platforms.

“I miss this guy…To see what he’s become today depresses me greatly,” reads one tweet accompanying a clip of Trump in 2016 criticizing the war in Iraq. A quote tweet of this clip says, “Me too, all of us OG real MAGA miss the guy we actually voted for 3 times, not sure what we have now.”

An Instagram reel titled “Trump before PAC money,” which features the same old Trump clip, has comments that feature a similar sentiment:

“He eventually became a real politician.”

“Before Don sold out! I just can’t believe he sold us out. He was a good first term president and terrible 2nd term.”

The only problem with these views? They’re rooted in a grotesquely false premise: that Trump was ever the anti-establishment hero he painted himself to be. The “old Trump” never existed. A conservative comedian perfectly exposed the shallowness of the support for admitted child killer Lindsay Clancy earlier this month with a simple, yet provocative question.

As TGP readers know, a mistrial was declared in the Clancy murder trial after one male juror held the line. Clancy killed her three children and admitted to the crime, but the defense argues she is not guilty by reason of insanity.

This set off Clancy’s legion of crazed fans, who have become infamous for their public behavior and wild conspiracy theories. They and the liberal media immediately sought to destroy the brave juror who stood for justice, forcing him to go into hiding.

While speaking at Loonees Comedy Corner in Colorado Springs two weekends ago, Mike Hammock decided to use part of his comedy bit to roast Clancy’s loony fans.

“I really love all the supporters out there doing this (makes heart sign), which symbolizes strangling two kids at the same time,” Hammock said. “That’s my favorite part about this whole thing.”

One of the Clancy supporters in the audience became triggered by Hammock’s politically incorrect remarks and started shouting at him. But Hammock quickly turned the tables on her with a pointed and provocative question.

“Would you still support her if they found out in court she was shouting the N word the entire time?” he asked.
