several videos with and from larry johnson accompany this entry at the 'more' spot;
Danny Davis, the host of Deep Dive, is a relatively new friend who hosts an excellent video podcast. He invited me last week to host some of his shows this week while he is on a well-deserved vacation. In light of the developments in Kursk over the weekend, I took to the air solo to discuss what is really happening on the ground. I will be interviewing Colonel Jacques Baud tomorrow and Ambassador Chas Freeman on Wednesday. Here is what I did today.
I also did my regular Monday chat with Judge Napolitano. While Western media continues to celebrate the Ukrainian “success”, the Ukrainian soldiers and Western mercenaries who crossed the border are paying a heavy price. Apart from the Ukrainian casualties, the political and military leadership in Kiev are likely damaged for having pushed such a foolhardy attack. When you have scarce resources in terms of manpower and combat vehicles, throwing them into a meat grinder for a risky public relations victory is just plain stupid.
Meanwhile, the world watches and waits to see what Iran, Hezbollah and the Houthis will do this week. What makes the current situation unique is the new defense arrangement between Moscow and Tehran. In the past, Iran had to weigh the risk of getting into a fight with the United States without having a potent ally backing it up. Today, Iran is in a stronger position because of its military ties with Russia and China. My guess is that Iran will hit an Israeli military or intelligence headquarters with a ballistic missile capable of evading Israel’s Iron Dome..........more..........
