 larry johnson on 'our' wars;

I have found what I want to be when I grow up (glad I’m figuring that out since I turn 70 in January). A guy who gets to interview folks without having to handle invites and the technical aspects of the video, audio and editing. Danny Davis has a producer, Gary Villapiano. A great guy who used to work for Judge Napolitano (they parted as friends).

I have been wanting to interview Jacques for some time. Guess I was too lazy to track him down. Fortunately, he is a regular on Daniel Davis Deep Dive and I got the chance to do a virtual sitdown with him today. We spent most of the hour talking about Iran and Israel and what is likely to happen in the coming days. We closed out the conversation by talking about Europe and the implications of the debacle unfolding in Ukraine for NATO and European unity.

When I do these interview I try to limit how much I talk. The idea of having a guest is to delve into what they are thinking and explore key variables that will shape the course of future events. So the Colonel does most of the talking.

Jacques and I agree that Iran will strike Israel in retaliation for the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh almost three weeks ago in Tehran. Iran’s calculus is pretty simple and straightforward. Iran’s April 13 combined drone, cruise missile and ballistic missile attack was a demonstration, not a strategic launch designed to cripple Israel. The Iranians hoped, in vain, that the demonstration would convince the Zionists to stop attacking Iran because Iran has the means to strike Israel. The Zionists did not get the message. They doubled down by murdering the Hamas chief negotiator and now Iran believes it must hit back with a decisive strike that will inflict some real pain on Israel..........more.........
