i began this blog to centralize what would have been emails to friends about things i encounter as i surf that seem interesting or of potential concern to all of us. the readership numbers aren't what i'd hope to have for my efforts and soon, unless things turn around, i'll be ending this effort. just so you know if this blog is of interest.
