senate republicans demonstrate clearly that they are israel firsters;
i began this blogspot to save sending emails to all i suspected might need or want to review: avoid being a spammer. so consider these things i thought you might find interest in. if you like what you see, pass it on. If the power elites didn’t need the consent of the public to rule, they wouldn’t have to lie constantly about their reasons for their wars on everyone. as gore vidal said: i'm not a conspiracy theorist, i'm a conspiracy observer.

hawley confronts smith and fun ensues;
Earlier today, Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley released explosive whistleblower documents showing how former Special Prosecutor Jack Smith demanded the records of donors to President Trump from December 2019 through August 2023. [Press Release Here] – [Donor Records Here]
Records provided to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) via legally protected whistleblower disclosures reveal Smith’s team acquired at least 4,782 checks from Americans who made mainly small-dollar donations to President Trump between September 2019 to August 2023. The checks reveal the donors’ home addresses, bank account and routing numbers, and signatures.
Smith’s team acquired the checks as part of its “Arctic Frost” election case against President Trump, allowing the Biden Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to gain access to nearly 5,000 Americans’ highly sensitive information, including 42 Iowans. There may be additional subpoena returns that include more donor checks. Whistleblower records show the checks were routed to former FBI Special Agent Walter Giardina. (more)

iran says they won while the orange man makes clearly unreasonable demands. i'm betting on iran. the orange man will loose because, in part, he has lost his grip on reality;
In an open letter to Americans published today, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has declared victory in the war President Trump began on behalf of Israel, explained the meaning of “Death to America,” and said Iranians and Americans share the “pain” of the latter being led by oppressors beholden to Israel.
Iran’s semi-official Mehr News agency posted the nearly 15,000-word screed in its entirety.
The letter surfaced hours after Axios reported that Trump had offered Iran economic relief if it surrendered to U.S. demands on its nuclear program. Trump denied the claim...........more...........
it begins in britain, of course, in the 'you'll own nothing and be happy' campaign. how long till they do it here you might wonder;
Britain has decided that leaving your own property empty for six months may now be sufficient reason for the government to begin taking control of it. Housing Secretary Angela Rayner has announced that councils in England will be given expanded powers under Empty Dwelling Management Orders, reducing the qualifying period from TWO YEARS to just SIX MONTHS. The government will also remove requirements that councils demonstrate matters such as anti-social behavior or community support before seeking an order. They call this bringing empty homes “back into use.” I call it another erosion of the basic principle that private property belongs to the person who paid for it.
Let us be precise because the government is not technically confiscating ownership of the house. Under an EDMO, the title remains with the owner, and there are exemptions, including where the property is normally someone’s primary residence and that person is temporarily absent. But the state can take over management of a qualifying privately owned property and put it back into occupation. Ownership without the right to decide who occupies your property and when is becoming a rather interesting definition of ownership..............more...........
pepe escobar says all hell is about to break loose;
The sociopath President of the United States completely disregarded the Chinese solution to end the Iran drama, presented in person at the White House by President Xi Jinping this past Thursday.
Essentially, Xi told Trump that the off-ramp is right in front of him: go back to the serially killed dead cat, the memorandum of understanding (MoU), signed and then blown up by Trump. China, said Xi, is ready to fully support this return to diplomacy.
Predictably, the sociopath refuted not only Xi’s offering but also the Iranian 7-day, step-by-step proposal for a return to negotiations, presented by Foreign Minister Araghchi in New York.
The combo should actually be seen as the China-Iran proposal: a set of Final Terms, finely tuned up by Araghchi and Wang Yi in two subsequent meetings, at the BRICS in New Delhi and then in Beijing.
Trump not only rejected the peace offer but bragged – to roars of global laughter – that the United States has “total control” of the “Strait of Trump”.
Trump’s snub has seriously annoyed both Wang Yi and President Xi. In Asian culture, that translates as the worst form of losing face: the dismissal of a recommendation officially made by the highest level of government............more............
larry johnson presents evidence of a coming diesel shortage here in the empire;
On paper, the United States should be the world’s safety valve in this fuel crisis. American refineries make far more diesel than Americans burn. But every one of those barrels is already spoken for. Between rising domestic demand, heavy export commitments and refineries running near their limit, the U.S. is drawing down its own stocks, not sitting on a surplus. And as Karl W. Miller shows in his latest assessment, dated September 29, the shock from the Gulf hits the world’s fuel supply twice: it starves refineries abroad of crude and removes finished fuel from the Gulf’s own refineries. America has no spare diesel to offer a world that has lost 1.6 million barrels a day of diesel exports from the Gulf and Russia combined. Until finished-fuel supply recovers, the gap will be closed by higher prices, less economic activity, or both.
The double hit from the Gulf
Miller’s September 29 assessment explains why the diesel shortage is worse than crude figures alone suggest. The Gulf shock hits world fuel supply through two separate channels at once.
The first is feedstock. When Gulf crude exports are disrupted, refineries in Asia, Europe and Africa lose the barrels they were set up to run. Replacement crudes can work, but not necessarily at the same yield, throughput or cost, because refinery units and hydrogen supply are configured around particular crudes. Miller’s rule of thumb is that every million barrels a day of crude that isn’t replaced means 300,000 to 500,000 b/d less diesel and jet fuel overseas...........more..............
