 america.gov is changing how you vote;

 

 At three in the morning a government website showed me a countdown clock with nine hours and twelve minutes remaining. A ticking clock on a .gov in the dead of night can only mean a handful of things, and none of them are the kind you feel good about, because governments do not build suspense around something they haven’t already completed. So when the most powerful bureaucracy on earth puts up a countdown and a page that peels back at the corner like a birthday card, it means somebody in a room somewhere decided that the launch of a federal website needed the emotional architecture of a product drop. That alone was enough of a red flag. But then I saw the lineup of the salesmen...........more.............
