Reporters on scene said city officials in The Hague banned a planned march against immigration and asylum policy on Saturday. Dutch riot police then moved in after violence broke out among several hundred protesters. Officers made arrests after some in the crowd set off fireworks and tried to force police lines. Police dispersed the gathering by late afternoon. This was not a routine protest. It turned fast once authorities blocked the route and ordered people to leave.

Euronews reported that around 500 people had planned to march through the city center before the ban took effect. Police used baton charges, police dogs, and water cannon to drive the crowd back once tempers rose. The standoff turned into running clashes on key streets near the Malieveld, a common protest ground. Officers pushed groups into smaller pockets and made targeted arrests.  President Masoud Pezeshkian has told Al Jazeera that Iran no longer trusts negotiations with the United States after previous rounds of talks were followed by attacks and sanctions, as Tehran awaits a response to its latest proposal to end the war.

“We have no trust in the American side and do not know on what basis an understanding can be reached with it,” Pezeshkian told the Qatar-based broadcaster in an interview aired on Saturday.

Pezeshkian and Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi visited the US this week for the United Nations gathering of world leaders and proposed a deal that would end fighting in the US-Israel war on Iran and unblock the Strait of Hormuz within seven days.

Araghchi told reporters on Friday that initial steps would take four to five days, the Strait of Hormuz would reopen on the sixth day and “on day seven, the talks with the US will be started for the final deal on mutually agreed subjects,” referring to Iran’s nuclear programme.

Under the plan, Washington would lift its naval blockade of Iranian ports, waive sanctions on Iranian oil sales, release an estimated $12bn in frozen Iranian assets and observe a ceasefire covering the region, including Lebanon and Yemen.

In return, Iran would reopen the Strait of Hormuz, through which a fifth of the world’s traded oil and gas passed before the war, and which has become Tehran’s main point of leverage..........more.........

In ten hours I’ll be boarding a Royal Air Maroc jet for Casablanca. After sixteen days in the USA—four in New York City and twelve in western Montana—I am more convinced than ever that Americans don’t deserve leaders like this.

If you read Linh Dinh’s blog, like I do, you might get the impression that Americans are all fat, retarded perverts like their president. Sometimes Linh almost convinces me that it’s sad to waste a beautiful country on such creatures. Linh is much relieved to have gotten the hell out of what he regards as the Jew-S-S-A. I confess I sometimes think along those lines. And I don’t intend to permanently return to America any time soon.

But if there is one thing I’ve noticed during my sixteen-day sojourn in the land of the allegedly free and the home of the allegedly brave, it’s that most of the Americans I’ve encountered are decent people, while more than a few are a cut above baseline decency.

(Another Day in the Empire) On May 21, Marco Rubio stood on the tarmac at the Miami Homestead Airport and told reporters Cuba “has been one of the leading sponsors of terrorism in the entire region.” The Secretary of State insisted Cuba is a threat to the national security of the United States, although he did not provide evidence to support the claim.

Rubio made his remarks on the same day the Justice Department unsealed a murder indictment against former Cuban President Raúl Castro and the United States Southern Command sent the USS Nimitz carrier strike group to the Caribbean.

The indictment concerns the Cuban shoot-down of a Brothers to the Rescue (Hermanos al Rescate) aircraft in 1996. Brothers to the Rescue is headed by José Basulto and a group of Cuban exiles. Basulto admitted in testimony he is an anti-Castro CIA operative.

CBS News reported on September 25 that the US Army Reserve is examining whether it can provide the Southern Command with police forces, medical personnel, and other support units within the next four months, according to an internal Army message.

Though the message makes no reference to Cuba, the request is for continued military planning aimed at Cuba, according to multiple U.S. officials who spoke to CBS News under condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly..............more...........

This is not a volume for conformists, in the sense that it does not spend much time beating down threadbare orthodoxies: that race does not exist, that IQ tests are biased, that environment and “racism” explain racial differences in achievement, etc. Prof. Lynn quickly summarizes the arguments in these areas, but writes mainly for an audience that already understands that race is real and that races differ in intelligence. His main interest is in assessing IQ differences, determining to what extent the differences are genetic, and sketching out the events of the past 100,000 years that probably caused these differences. It would be hard to imagine a clearer, more capable treatment.

‘Genetic Clusters’

Prof. Lynn divides homo sapiens into ten racial groups based on genetic similarities that follow traditional anthropological classification. He notes that before the vogue for pretending it does not exist — a vogue limited essentially to the United States — there were straightforward definitions of race. As a textbook from 1976 explains: “[R]aces could be called sub-species if we adopted for man a criterion from systematic zoology. The criterion is that two or more groups become sub-species when 75 percent or more of all individuals constituting the groups can be unequivocally classified as belonging to a particular group.” Prof. Lynn points out that one of the book’s authors, Luigi Cavalli-Sforza, now famously insists on writing about “genetic clusters” rather than races.

There are four recognized sub-species or races of chimpanzees, and two races of gorillas. There are as many as 79 different breeds of dog, and Prof. Lynn lists a few striking biological differences in human races. Almost all Amerindians, for example, have type O blood, and virtually no Australian aborigines have type B. Disease rates vary so much by race there is even a journal called Ethnicity and Health devoted to them. Europeans, for example, are 6.6 times more likely than East Asians to carry the gene for the disease phenylketonuria (PKU). Pygmies average about four feet seven inches in height. GUANGZHOU – Chinese President Xi Jinping made the ask directly in the Oval Office. The “deciding mode” President – who’s mulling whether to commit nuclear genocide against Iran, as he revealed in the UN podium – did not say yes.

Xi told Trump directly that China favors an immediate U.S. return to the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) – yes, the famous dead cat. Negotiations should resume “as soon as

possible,” leading to a comprehensive agreement that includes the nuclear issue.

No breakthrough though. The White House issued no readout of its own. Trump deflected all questions on the substance of his 3-hour meeting with Xi. It’s fascinating how the explosive Iran file was managed out of the summit rather than into it.

The US and British governments have intentionally allowed their countries to be overrun by Muslims, many being displaced persons from Washington’s wars for Israel in the Middle East. Yet both countries work diligently for Israel against Muslims. Consequently, they have created internal problems that they are managing by suppressing constitutionally protected free speech.

The suppression of course is not of pro-Israeli speech. It is suppression of pro-Palestinian speech. Thirteen British universities are working with BAE Systems, the largest British armaments corporation, to suppress pro-Palestine protests on university campuses. Six universities–Birmingham, Manchester, Nottingham, Strathclyde, Southampton, and Cranfield receive $20 million in annual payments from BAE Systems as designated “strategic partners.” Thus, they are bought-and-paid-for just like the British government.

Gina Romero, a United Nations special rapporteur points out that an armaments producer that supplies components for Israel’s genocide machine has hired university administrations to manage corporate risk by suppressing dissent over BAE’s complicity in Israel’s genocide of Palestine.

Meanwhile, New York City police arrested students who protested outside at the UN against Netanyahu’s presence. The New York Muslim Mayor had threatened to arrest Netanyahu on the outstanding warrant from the International Criminal Court for war crimes, but instead it was those protesting Netanyahu who were arrested.........more.........
