Glenn Greenwald recently appeared on the Jesse Watters show and talked about the liberal media’s fading influence and why their constant attacks on Trump are not working.
He suggests that this has been a process that has been getting worse for the media for years and that only now are they beginning to realize that it’s a major problem for them.
He also points out the fact that despite all of the media slurs against Trump, he is attracting voters from all walks of life, including minorities.

If you want to read an excellent example of schizophrenia, take time and read the NY Times piece published on Friday — As Russia Advances, U.S. Fears Ukraine Has Entered a Grim Phase. It is a mixture of truth and lies. The following passage is emblematic:
American military and intelligence officials have concluded that the war in Ukraine is no longer a stalemate as Russia makes steady gains, and the sense of pessimism in Kyiv and Washington is deepening.
The dip in morale and questions about whether American support will continue pose their own threat to Ukraine’s war effort. Ukraine is losing territory in the east, and its forces inside Russia have been partially pushed back.
The Ukrainian military is struggling to recruit soldiers and equip new units. The number of its soldiers killed in action, about 57,000, is half of Russia’s losses but still significant for the much smaller country.
The first two paragraphs are true. But the third paragraph, i.e., 57,000 dead Ukrainians since February 2022? Complete male bovine excrement. Ukraine has 30,000 KIA in Kursk since August. The real number dead for Ukraine is closer to one million. That is why Ukraine is struggling to recruit soldiers and equip new units.

The United States and Russia are very close to engaging in “direct military conflict,” Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov warned in an interview published Friday in a Turkey daily, just days ahead of a US presidential election.
“Under the current president (Joe Biden), who has taken the downward spiral of Russophobia in the US to its logical conclusion, our countries are on the brink of direct military conflict,” he told the Hurriyet daily, without elaborating.
Asked about next week’s US election pitting former Republican president Donald Trump against Democratic nominee Kamala Harris, Lavrov said the outcome would make little difference to Russia.
“We have no preference. When the Trump administration was in power, it adopted the highest number of anti-Russian sanctions compared to its predecessors,” he said.
“No matter who wins the elections, we don’t think the United States’ anti-Russian bent can change.”
Although Trump has previously made clear his fondness for Russia’s Vladimir Putin, the two men are not close and have maintained a deliberately ambiguous relationship..........more....

More than 100 BBC employees are accusing the corporation of providing favourable coverage toward Israel and are calling on the broadcaster to “recommit to fairness, accuracy, and impartiality” over its reporting on Gaza.
In a letter sent to Tim Davie, signed by more than 230 members of the media industry, including 101 anonymous BBC staff, the corporation is criticised for failing its own editorial standards by lacking “consistently fair and accurate evidence-based journalism in its coverage of Gaza”.
Seen exclusively by The Independent, the letter, which has also been signed by Sayeeda Warsi and the actor Juliet Stevenson, calls on the BBC to report “without fear or favour” and to “recommit to the highest editorial standards – with emphasis on fairness, accuracy, and due impartiality”
The letter also calls on the broadcaster to implement a series of editorial commitments including “reiterating that Israel does not give external journalists access to Gaza; making it clear when there is insufficient evidence to back up Israeli claims; making clear where Israel is the perpetrator in article headlines; including regular historical context predating October 2023; and robustly challenging Israeli government and military representatives in all interviews”.
The BBC has denied these claims, insisting it “strives to live up to our responsibility to deliver the most trusted and impartial news”..............more........

What? you say? Isn’t it a war zone? Well, yes, but it looks like the war might end soon, and certainly with Russia keeping what it currently holds, and possibly a great deal more. However it comes out, this region will be very attractive for Westerners moving to Russia, a growing trend since Putin opened Russia to immigration from Europe and North America. This might sound counterintuitive, so let me explain. To understand why, one needs to know something about history of these lands, which are not ‘Ukrainian’, rather Russian, their correct historical name being ‘Novorossiya.’..........more......
