Trenton, NJ — Filming the police is entirely legal, in every state. However, all too often, we will see police officers overstep their authority and arrest, attack, and assault innocent people for the constitutionally protected act of documenting their behavior in public. As the following case out of Trenton, New Jersey illustrates, police officers will go to extreme and often violent lengths to make sure they are not being filmed, up to and including beating and falsely arresting a female bartender at her place of work.

In March 2019, the Championship Bar on Chambers Street was about to close for the night when bartender Elizabeth Cisco heard a commotion outside. When she went outside, she found multiple police officers roughly arresting a single non-violent person. So, she started filming.

In the land of the free, there are ostensible checks and balances which are in place to prevent corrupt and power drunk government officials from overstepping their authority and depriving people of their rights. The largest ostensible restraint on this power is the constitution. However, as TFTP has reported for years, despite the fact that police swear an oath to uphold this constitution, they are all too often the ones who ignore it and the cops in the video below are perfect examples of this.

As Cisco began filming, she was mostly silent. However, as police dragged the man away, she began to politely ask questions like, why is he being arrested?

“I don’t know, I wasn’t here dummy,” one officer rudely responds to Cisco’s police question.

“[He was] talking sh*t to the cops,” another officer responded.

“Talking sh*t to the cops?” Cisco asked. “There are seven cops out here to arrest one person for talking sh*t to the cops?”..........read and watch more......

G. Gordon Liddy R.I.P.

I say almost because the NYT obituary of G. Gordon Liddy is not as bad as I would have expected. The obitury claims that Liddy was the “mastermind behind Watergate Burglary,” a burglary that the Washington Post used to force President Nixon’s resignation.  But that is not what Liddy told me.

I got to know Liddy, because he used to read some of my columns over his popular radio show. Liddy told me that officially the burglar team was looking for evidence that the Democrat National Committee was receiving funding from Cuba and the Soviet Union and that the break-in was to search the office of the DNC chairman for the evidence.  Liddy, however, thought that the real purpose was to snatch from the DNC chairman’s desk a little black book that had the names of call girls with whose services the DNC rewarded its big donors.  Liddy thought that White House counsel John Dean was behind the burglary and that he wanted the black book because he feared his wife’s name was in the book. 

Liddy made this charge publicly, and it resulted in a law suit by John Dean that was dismissed in 1992.  Liddy was later sued for his allegation by a female employee of the DNC, and the judge also dismissed this suit.  Libby survived his allegation which made enough sense to jurors that they would not convict............read more....

Minnesota State Officials Emulate Pontias Pilate by Handing over Officer Chauvin

An attorney who is monitoring the trial of officer Chauvin has concluded that Minnesota officials arranged in advance Chauvin’s conviction.  The attorney is not a member of Chauvin’s defense team.  He is monitoring the trial because of his long-standing interest in the systematic destruction in America of a fair trial.  The details follow:

Minneapolis paid a $27 million settlement with George Floyd’s brother in the middle of jury selection for Chauvin’s trial.  In other words, in effect the city officials admitted Chauvin’s guilt prior to the jury’s determination.  One would have expected Minneapolis to hold on to $27 million of taxpayers’ money until the jury rendered a verdict both for the sake of a fair trial and for the city’s budget.

On the eve of the trial, the district court granted the state’s motion to insert the charge of third degree murder in addition to second degree manslaughter against Chauvin.  The consequence of this for Chauvin was made clear yesterday (March 31) when the Minnesota supreme court handed down a decision on third-degree murder while Chauvin’s trial was underway.  My informant explains that the decision has the effect of allowing Minnesota to convict Chauvin of third degree murder without having to prove that Chauvin intended George Floyd’s death.  In effect, the court’s decision negates the objective evidence of the medical examiner’s report that his examination discovered three times the fatal dose of fentanyl in Floyd’s blood and no life-threatening injuries.
