Mr. Adlred’s case is a perfect example of why TFTP exists. When police can break into an innocent blind man’s home, based on an anonymous call, force their K9 to shred his flesh, never say so much as “I’m sorry,” and then pass their liability on to the taxpayer, something has gone seriously wrong. If we the people do not speak out about the increasingly unaccountable and violent nature of police in America, by the time most people realize it is going on, it will be too late;

Mount Washington, PA — On that fateful night back in June 2017, Robert Aldred had committed no crime, had harmed no one and was asleep in his own home. Despite being entirely innocent, militarized cops with a blood thirsty K9 broke into his home, went into his bedroom, and savagely attacked this innocent man, who is also legally blind.

Now, after filing a lawsuit against the city for the abuse, the city is issuing him an insultingly low settlement that Aldred says doesn’t even cover his medical bills.

The fact that police felt it necessary to force their K9 to attack a naked blind man as he slept is bad enough, but the ridiculous settlement makes it that much worse.

“It was extremely traumatic,” Mr. Aldred said Wednesday at a news conference. “It was the police department. They’re here to protect and serve.”

Sadly, protection and service were nothing close to what Aldred received on the night of June 23, 2017.

Having sponsored the 2011 ‘humanitarian’ regime-change in Libya and reducing the North African country to chaos and civil war, the US is now protesting the alleged presence of Russian troops there as “incredibly destabilizing.”

That was the claim on Tuesday by David Schenker, the assistant secretary for near eastern affairs at the State Department. He told reporters that Russian regulars were being sent to Libya “in significant numbers” to support the Libya National Army (LNA) and said that “raises the specter of large-scale casualties among the civilian population.”

Schenker’s concern for the lives and well-being of Libyan civilians is especially touching, given that the US was one of the driving forces behind the regime-change operation in 2011 targeting the government of Col. Moammar Gaddafi. Few can forget then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton cackling ghoulishly when she was informed of Gaddafi’s brutal murder at the hands of US-backed ‘moderate’ rebels.

Even when the “humanitarian” fallout reached out to claim the lives of four Americans at the consulate in Benghazi in 2012, Washington shrugged. Their murders were blamed on a YouTube video and Clinton famously sneered at Congress, “what difference, at this point, does it make?”It has been estimated that some 25,000 Libyans were killed just between March and October 2011, and who knows how many more since, as the country went from one of the most prosperous in Africa to a chaotic wasteland dominated by warlords. Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS) was drawn to the chaos, and reporters even found open-air slave markets at one point.

Now, however, as General Khalifa Haftar – who lived in the US for 20-plus years, mind you – and his LNA seem poised to reunite the country and brush aside the US-backed “national unity government” that clings on to the capital and not much more, Washington is suddenly concerned for Libyan lives? Please!

The US obsession for blaming Russia for absolutely everything – from the 2016 presidential election to apparently Libya now – would be ludicrous were it not so destructive. CNN even reported that “Russian mercenaries backing Haftar” may have shot down a US drone over Tripoli last week, citing anonymous Pentagon sources, of course. Chicago, IL — Police entering the wrong residence in search of suspects is, unfortunately, quite a common occurrence. Sadly, most of the time the residents do not receive so much as an apology for the sheer terror they experience when it happens. Case in point, one Chicago woman was not only terrorized when cops raided the wrong address, they actually handcuffed her completely naked while they figured out how they screwed up. 

Anjanette Young always takes Thursday night and reserves it for herself. But this last February, Young’s peaceful night of watching Grey’s Anatomy was irreparably interrupted. She elaborated on her mid-week routine:

My friends and family know: don’t call, don’t text…This is my night to myself. And that’s always been on a Thursday night.

A social worker by trade, she sees helping others as her life calling. On the night of the 21st of February she said she had just gotten home and out of her clothes:

I’ll never forget it. February 21st…[I] had undressed in my bedroom, getting ready to get comfortable. And then I hears these loud slams.. Before I knew it, there was a swarm of police officers,” she said. “They had these big guns, long guns with scopes and lights… I thought they were going to shoot me.

She said she’d grabbed a jacket and covered herself as she ran toward the commotion. When she saw the cops, who were screaming at her to raise her hands, she complied, and when she did, the jacket she was holding fell to the floor leaving her completely naked in front of the seemingly trigger-happy cops. She said:

I can just remember crying and yelling, ‘Please let me put my clothes on…you have the wrong place…I can see it all over again…I can see them walking around my house and feeling like, feeling humiliated.

Despite her cries for clothing, the cops just put handcuffs on her leaving her handcuffed, naked, and humiliated. Following an investigative report by the local CBS affiliate, the police stated they had received a tip about a man with a gun and ammunition.
