I don’t know anything about Charlie Kirk or Turning Point USA other than what I read on the internet. He founded a group that claims to advocate policies associated with the conservative side of the political spectrum.

I hope others in his organization or who share his political dogma don’t share his public disdain for American servicemen whose only crime is to be victims of Israeli War Crimes.

Are we overreaching to hope the people in his circle will publicly disavow Mr. Kirk’s position? From the reaction of his audience, we definitely are.

Like us, he readily takes advantage of the rights guaranteed in the First Amendment to the Constitution.

Unlike us, he doesn’t accept responsibility for what he says.

Alternative media circles have been buzzing for the last two days ever since news broke about the arrest of Grayzone journalist Max Blumenthal, who was reportedly jailed for two days after a SWAT-style police team showed up threatening to break his door down last Friday.

Blumenthal is charged with simple assault alleged to have taken place five months ago during the notorious standoff when the US government was working to remove the official Venezuelan government from its DC embassy and replace it with diplomats from the Guaido-led puppet government it was attempting to force into power. Dissident journalists, including Blumenthal, stationed themselves in the embassy in opposition to the illegal eviction and to document the behavior of the evictors. Blumenthal calls the assault charge “a 100 percent false, fabricated, bogus, untrue, and malicious lie.”

I watched the news of the embassy standoff with much interest, largely because the obnoxious, oafish behavior of the anti-Maduro counter-protesters on the scene were a perfect reflection of the obnoxious, oafish behavior I’d experienced from anti-Maduro accounts online. I’ve argued with every major political faction in America at one point or another, and some of them can be downright vile,  but I’ve never run into such an intellectually dishonest, crude, nasty group of people in my three years on this job as those who’ve been cheering on the Trump administration’s regime change agenda in Venezuela. There’s not a doubt in my mind that someone from this unscrupulous, shady group would be capable of making false allegations against a dissident journalist who disagreed with them.

i've heard that you can't be allowed to be a cop if your intelligence score is too high, and the following story seems to reinforce that idea;

Another citizen has been threatened with death by New York Police Department (NYPD) officers for fare jumping on the subway. Adrian Napier, 19, was held at gunpoint and pinned to the ground by over a dozen cops and all he had done was jump the turnstile to avoid paying the $2.75 fare.

According to police, their response was justified, after several people called police to report a young man was in possession of a firearm. Napier was not this person. However, he allegedly jumped the turnstile and ran when he saw the officers.

Instead of stopping to talk with police, Napier made a run for it, jumping over the turnstile and boarding a train. More than a dozen cops then drew their firearms and pursued him.

The incident was caught on cell phone footage by passengers and immediately caused outrage by many who saw the videos. Napier can be seen wearing a red toboggan and sitting on a subway train’s bench seating. As he raises his hands, seeing police are pointing their weapons at him, the general public begins to move away from the windows and doors.

The passengers fled in fear as a dozen cops pointed their guns into the train, endangering all of those on board.

Napier had his hands raised, was not attempting to flee, and did not appear to be angry or prepared for violence.

No less than 12 officers then jumped on the train to apprehend Napier once the doors opened. While the teen’s takedown was swift and appeared by the book, the sheer number of cops used to arrest him could be baffling to some. Questions remain as to why so many officers were needed to arrest a fare jumper.

In yet another federal civil rights lawsuit, the American taxpayer is footing the bill for the unconscionable actions of a few uneducated and unscrupulous police officers. This time, a police officer decided to arrest his ex-wife for “criminal defamation” of character, for a Facebook post she made which he obviously didn’t like. There were no threats of violence and it merely implied that he was lazy.

In 2015, Anne King posted the following, completely legal post to her Facebook page: “That moment when everyone in your house has the flu and you ask your kid’s dad to get them (not me) more Motrin and Tylenol and he refuses.”

That is it.

Nevertheless, the officer still chose to arrest Anne King for criminal defamation despite the fact that it was ruled unconstitutional in Georgia over 30 years ago. Worse yet, court papers reveal an earlier accusation that Officer Corey King used his badge to coerce his ex-wife into having post-divorce sex with him in order to keep her out of jail.

The lawsuit was filed on the 19^th of January, 2017. Anne King sued her ex-husband, Officer Corey King and fellow officer and investigator Trey Burgamy for violating her first and fourth amendment rights to free speech and unreasonable search, seizure, and arrest, as well as malicious prosecution, false arrest, and civil conspiracy. She sued both men, who are Washington County, Georgia police officers, for an unspecified amount of money.

After years of battling the system, the lawsuit was finally settled last week and Anne King received $100,000 and, amazingly enough, an apology.
