Sometimes I’ll write a headline that looks odd on its face, but then I’ll lay out facts and arguments which allow the reader to understand the validity of the claim by the end of the essay. This is not one of those times.
This headline is just me saying the thing that happened. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz are publicly denouncing a report from an Israeli newspaper quoting Israeli soldiers who describe atrocities they were ordered to commit in the Israeli military, accusing the report of “blood libels”.
The Israeli newspaper Haaretz has published an article titled “‘It’s a Killing Field’: IDF Soldiers Ordered to Shoot Deliberately at Unarmed Gazans Waiting for Humanitarian Aid”, subtitled “IDF officers and soldiers told Haaretz they were ordered to fire at unarmed crowds near food distribution sites in Gaza, even when no threat was present. Hundreds of Palestinians have been killed, prompting the military prosecution to call for a review into possible war crimes.”..............more........

The Justice Department on Friday evening abruptly fired at least three prosecutors who persecuted January 6 defendants, according to the Associated Press.
The prosecutors who were fired were not named in the report.
The AP reported that two of the attorneys fired were high-ranking supervisors who oversaw January 6 cases and one line attorney who prosecuted January 6 defendants.

The Justice Department on Friday fired at least three prosecutors involved in U.S. Capitol riot criminal cases, the latest moves by the Trump administration targeting attorneys connected to the massive prosecution of the Jan. 6, 2021, attack, according to two people familiar with the matter.
Those dismissed include two attorneys who worked as supervisors overseeing the Jan. 6 prosecutions in the U.S. attorney’s office in Washington as well as a line attorney who prosecuted cases stemming from the Capitol attack, the people said. They spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss personnel matters.
A letter that was received by one of the prosecutors was signed by Attorney General Pam Bondi. The letter did not provide a reason for their removal, effective immediately, citing only “Article II of the United States Constitution and the laws of the United States,” according to a copy seen by The Associated Press.........more.............

Leah Litman is a law professor at the University of Michigan and serves as a legal analyst for the far left MSNBC. She did not have a good day today.
Reacting to the SCOTUS ruling that limits injunctions from lower courts, Litman cited the dissents from liberal justices Sotomayor and Ketanji Brown Jackson.
These people know what a huge win this is for the Trump administration and they’re in complete panic.

Cabrera herself proclaimed: “This sounds like a giant win for the Trump administration and could likely trigger chaos now across the country.”
