When Donald Trump made his promise to bring peace to Ukraine in 24 hours, he obviously was thinking in terms of how time is counted on the planet Venus… on Venus, one Earth day is equivalent to 243 days. That’s his only hope of delivering on that promise. Trump may be a master at negotiating a deal to build a hotel, but he has no clue how to bring an end to the war in Ukraine.

The process is stalled — not because of Russian intransigence — but because Europe and Ukraine’s Zelensky are throwing up roadblocks. The Black Sea deal, for example, hinges on Europe lifting economic sanctions on grain and fertilizer exports from Russia and reconnecting one of Russia’s key banks to SWIFT. Europe said, “Hell no!”

Trump also expressed anger over President Putin saying he won’t talk to Zelensky. Even though Trump himself called Zelensky a dictator, Donald insists that Putin must talk to the green goblin. President Trump apparently does not realize that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy enacted a decree on October 4, 2022, based on a decision by the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of September 30, 2022, prohibiting negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Also sitting before Taylor were nearly 40 empty seats.” So begins the article in the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel about a talk I gave on March 27. Perhaps the author didn’t know that the event had been elbowed into a room with only 80 seats, that the tickets had been quickly snapped up, and that many people had deliberately taken tickets they would not use to make the attendance look meager.

The Sentinel went on: While I spoke, a campus-wide outdoor party “in response to Taylor’s rhetoric” was in full swing, with “three food trucks . . . a mechanical bull, volleyball and football activities on the grass, students cooking burgers on the grill, and a stage with a DJ set loudly blasting songs like Green Day’s ‘American Idiot’.” The Sentinel forgot to mention the moon bounce — yes, a moon bounce — along with the beanbag toss, with which students eloquently refuted my arguments. Nor did it mention that the food and rides were free, and that the “unity party” was deliberately timed to draw students away from my talk.

After I spoke — full video here — local television interviewed a young man from the audience who said he had wanted to ask a question but that men had threatened to kick him out of the room “as soon as I opened my mouth.” In fact, I answered three of his questions, but he bobbed up and down, hogged the mic, and was such an ass, campus security threatened to eject him............more........

A Texas junior high school student was viciously beaten by another student as adults halfheartedly tried to stop the savagery that ended with a head-stomp, according to a viral video.

The two youngsters involved are Harwood Junior High School students in Bedford, Texas., where the violent incident took place, the school confirmed in a letter, according to WFAA.

Disturbing video of the one-sided incident showed the aggressor sitting on another boy’s chest while he rained down fist after fist on the head of the flailing victim.

As he is beaten senseless, the young boy looks to fellow students for help, but instead they make whooping noises, watch, and record on their phones as the boy suffers from punches to his face and back of the head {snip}

Teachers failed to halt the violence.

Video shows two adult men, one who doesn’t put down his thermos, slowly approach the skirmish and gently pull the attacker off without restraining him.
