Regular unleaded is now back to over $4 per gallon again, courtesy of Trump’s Ahab-like refusal to accept that the war is lost. Like Ahab, he is determined to pursue his white whale to the ends of the Earth, even if it means his own destruction and ours along with him.

AAA says regular unleaded is currently – as of July 30 – about $4.10 per gallon. How much higher will it go as Ahab continues to rail at (and bomb) his white whale?
