A Canadian woman was awarded $10,000 because her former friend and landlady allegedly made “transphobic” comments to her while she was living on the ex-friend’s property.

According to Toronto’s National Post, the British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal (HRT) last month ordered Kirstin Olsen to pay Terry Wiebe that sum as “compensation for injury to (Wiebe’s) dignity, feelings and self-respect.” The three-member tribunal panel found that Olsen, as Wiebe’s landlady, had discriminated against Wiebe with her words, especially those expressing discomfort with Wiebe’s intention to have a double mastectomy to complete her “transition” to male.

Wiebe lived in a motor home on her then-friend Olsen’s property from 2014 to 2018, paying $200 rent a month, reported the Vancouver Sun.

In November 2016, Wiebe, having decided she was transgender, began hormone therapy to acquire male characteristics. She informed Olsen in April 2017 that she planned to have her breasts removed.

Ok. Sorry for the lengthy article, but the substance is important. If the Brits are laboring under the fantasy that they enjoy a special relationship with the United States, it is time for my British cousins to wake up. My thesis is simple: Donald Trump and Kash Patel know that British intelligence officers and assets played a key and enthusiastic role in trying to destroy Donald Trump’s campaign for President in 2016 and are likely to hold the UK accountable. In my judgment, Russiagate was a comprehensive, complex intelligence operation that involved the UK, the Australians and the Israelis. Then, four years later, we have Keir Starmer taking a swing at Trump by sending Labour volunteers to the United States in the fall of 2024 to campaign for Kamala Harris. That foreign meddling exceeds anything the Russians are alleged to have done in 2016. If Starmer ever gets an invite to the White House, he better bring a food taster.

In short, I believe that Donald Trump has not forgotten how these foreign intelligence agencies tried to destroy them and does not likely place a high value on seeking further collaboration with them in the future. Israeli forces strapped explosives around the neck of an elderly Palestinian man in Gaza and forced him to act as a human shield before killing him and his wife, an investigation by the Israeli news website HaMakom has revealed.

The Palestinian man, who has not been named but is believed to have been well above the age of 80, was told that if he did not carry out the searches Israeli forces would detonate the explosives and “blow off his head.”

According to HaMakom, the incident took place in May last year when Israeli soldiers from several different brigades amassed near the house of the Palestinian couple, both aged in their 80s, in Gaza City’s Zeitoun neighbourhood.

At the time, Israeli forces had launched their third ground assault on the area after engaging in intense fighting with Hamas and other Palestinian movements.

HaMakom said that the Nahal Brigade, the Carmeli Brigade and the Multidimensional Unit, decided to use the elderly Palestinian man, who used a walking stick to get around, as the human shield.

An Israeli soldier told HaMakom that after explosives were placed around the Palestinian man’s neck, he was told “that if he does something wrong or not the way we want, the person behind him will pull the rope and his head will detach from the body.”..........more........

One of the central pillars of the U.S. economy is melting down right in front of our eyes.  We spend gigantic mountains of borrowed money to maintain the largest and most bloated bureaucracy in the entire history of the planet.  More than 3 million workers are employed directly by the federal government, more than 7 million workers are employed by private institutions that rely on government funding or government contracts, and more than 20 million workers are employed by state and local governments.  So that gives us a grand total of more than 30 million workers that are employed in bureaucratic jobs.  Needless to say, on average bureaucratic jobs pay more and have better benefits than jobs in the private sector.  So what is going to happen to our deeply troubled economy as large numbers of good paying bureaucratic jobs start to disappear?

Anyone that believed that shrinking the size of government would be painless was just being delusional.

Last week, over 10,000 federal workers were given the axe by the Trump administration.  We are being told that this is “likely just the beginning of the job cuts”…

Steve Bannon in an interview with GBN said Trump is preparing for a $300 trillion Margin Call. That is his estimate of the total value of all public and private debt in the world. No other Western leader is doing that.

Trump made an offer to Putin and Xi to cut military spending in half. The US is budgeted to spend a total of $1.51 trillion on its military last year. That is $887 billion from the DOD (Department of Defense) and over $600 billion from 6 other agencies. That would include the CIA, the DIA, Veterans Affairs, Social Security, the State Department and the Department of Energy (for nuclear weapons.) Next year was expected to be $1.61 trillion. under Biden-Harris.

The US budget deficit is $2 trillion a year and cannot continue at that pace. But even cutting a third of military spending would only save us $500 billion plus a year. A good first step. The House Republicans are planning $1.5 trillion in cuts. This is obviously based on their first reading of DOGE’s audits. The plan includes going from over 400 federal agencies to just 99 or so.

Elon Musk has read only access to government expenditures. He is just doing what government workers were supposed to be doing. Bannon cited some examples of proposed DOGE cost cutting........more.....
