Steve Bannon in an interview with GBN said Trump is preparing for a $300 trillion Margin Call. That is his estimate of the total value of all public and private debt in the world. No other Western leader is doing that.

Trump made an offer to Putin and Xi to cut military spending in half. The US is budgeted to spend a total of $1.51 trillion on its military last year. That is $887 billion from the DOD (Department of Defense) and over $600 billion from 6 other agencies. That would include the CIA, the DIA, Veterans Affairs, Social Security, the State Department and the Department of Energy (for nuclear weapons.) Next year was expected to be $1.61 trillion. under Biden-Harris.

The US budget deficit is $2 trillion a year and cannot continue at that pace. But even cutting a third of military spending would only save us $500 billion plus a year. A good first step. The House Republicans are planning $1.5 trillion in cuts. This is obviously based on their first reading of DOGE’s audits. The plan includes going from over 400 federal agencies to just 99 or so.
