 A high-ranking Russian general has issued a stark warning that Israel could ‘cease to exist as a state’ if the escalating West Asia conflict continues to widen, while US-Iran tensions remain high over diplomatic engagement and naval blockades. 

Lieutenant General Apti Alaudinov of the Russian Armed Forces stated that the ongoing West Asia conflict could result in Israel ceasing to exist as a state.
Alaudinov accused Israel of attempting to escalate the conflict and draw the United States and NATO into the confrontation.
US President Donald Trump has reportedly paused talks with Iran, stating that Tehran must be ‘ready to make a deal’, while maintaining a naval blockade in the Strait of Hormuz.
Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf criticised US officials for believing that increased economic or military pressure would force Iran into further concessions.
