Those who do not pretend already know the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) is the cover agency for CIA influence operations worldwide.  However, technically USAID is supposed to be the charitable side of U.S. government, supporting foreign countries.

If USAID is simply magnanimous and altruistic aid to foreign countries using taxpayer funds, then what exactly is the “classified material” they would need to withhold from DOGE review?

Sometimes all we need are simple questions to destroy the matrix of lies.

President Trump’s Border Czar, Tom Homan, appears on Fox News Sunday to talk about the massive drop (-93%) in attempted border crossers and the success of the current deportation operation.  Homan also outlines the intended use of Guantanamo Bay for the “worst of the worst” detainees as a matter of efficiency and expediency.

Then at the 4:48 point of the interview, a bombshell.  Tom Homan responding to a question about the cartels setting up positions inside the USA for drug and sex trafficking offices, says “I’ve gotta be careful.. {pause} ..let me just say, we’re involved”….......more.......

Democrat Senator Michael Bennet, who I think is a disgraceful representative of his Colorado constituents, played a silly and dishonest game of gotcha with Tulsi Gabbard during her confirmation hearing before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.

Bennet demanded that Tulsi declare Ed Snowden, who exposed Top Secret US government programs that illegally spied on US citizens, as a traitor. Tulsi refused to take the bait.

Tulsi is a very smart person and a woman of unimpeachable character. I hope she is confirmed. That said, she missed a golden opportunity to school Senator Bennet. Here is what I wish she had said:............more.......

The US will impose 25 percent tariffs on Mexico and Canada, and 10 percent on China, the Trump White House said.  The purpose of tariffs is to protect domestic manufacturers and their work forces.  What American manufacturers and workers are being protected by Trump’s tariffs?  So much of US manufacturing is located offshore, what purpose are the tariffs serving?

The “tariffs” in reality are taxes imposed on imports of foreign produced goods, including the offshored production of US corporations of goods and services sold in the US.  If the tariffs are paid by the consumer rather than by the US corporations that offshore their production for the American market, the effect will be to reduce the quantity demanded because of the higher price. How much this harms the offshore producers depends on whether their products are price elastic or inelastic. Some are one and some are the other. 

This approach to bringing offshored US jobs back to America is incorrect.  It demonstrates the economic ignorance of Trump and his advisors.  Consider, for example, if US auto assembly relies on parts made in Canada,  a 25% rise in parts cost could shutdown auto assembly and result in US unemployment. As best as I can tell, few auto parts are any longer produced in the US, so there is no industry to protect or to supply the parts that tariffs keep out.  Before you can protect industries, you first must have them.........more.........

Global Research: Some scientists have been trying to correct what they call conspiracy theories about what caused the fires to spread. Some of them say that people naturally feel the need to point to an explanation they can understand. Hence, it was created by humans.

Do you think this might be one element of the dissenting perspective you are talking about? Or are they just way off base?

Robert Brame: Well, if you’re talking about supposed arsonists lighting these fires, I think that rarely happens. I’m not ruling it out, but I believe that rarely happens because these are not the same flames.

GR: Well, you mentioned the fires that you witnessed way back in Northern California, Santa Rosa area in 2017.

It got you questioning what really happened because of the strange phenomenon you witnessed. Briefly, if you could, could you mention a few of the phenomena you witnessed that were not consistent with the heat from conventional fires and the damage they do to everything in its path?

RB: Yeah, why sure. When I first saw the pictures up there, I noticed 4700 homes had turned to white ash, and there was no black, no carbon anywhere.

And the photos I saw on the internet, I saw trees everywhere, all kinds of species unburned, untouched. So when I went up there and started analyzing this place, I found plastics around the yards, such as children’s play structures, plastic, swimming pools above ground, rubber garden hoses, trampolines, synthetics, all untouched unless there’s metal in close proximity. And then of course, when I get into the trees, more of my expertise, I noticed the trees that hold the most water, especially your extreme water levers that just are filled with water, the willow, cottonwood, alder, birch, aspen, even the maples, madrones, and the oak trees, oak trees hold a ton of water. They’re burning from the inside out. Do they know something that we do not?  All of a sudden, hedge funds are betting billions of dollars that the stock market is going to crash.  If they are wrong, they will lose a ton of money, but if they are correct they will make absolutely enormous profits.  So why are they feeling so confident that a stock market collapse is in our future?  Without a doubt, the real economy has been moving in the wrong direction for quite some time, but for years there have been relentless efforts to keep the financial markets propped up.  Could it be possible that there is a scenario in which the financial markets will simply be allowed to fail at some point?

What we are witnessing at this moment is truly strange.  We are being told that hedge funds are “making a multi-billion-dollar gamble” that there will be a “massive market crash”…
