We find ourselves in a mind-controlled dystopia where we think, speak, vote, work, shop, spend and behave in more or less exactly the ways the rich and powerful want us to, all while believing we are free - because the mechanisms of control are hidden from us.

Everyone kind of knows that our society is profoundly sick. You can sense it. There are raging disagreements about what exactly it is that’s wrong, but everyone can feel that something freakish and unnatural is happening here.

The source of this sickness isn’t clear at first glance, so you’ll hear countless explanations for what specifically is giving rise to this sense of dis-ease within us. Some say it’s because we don’t have enough religion in our lives. Others say it’s because we have too much. Some say it’s because half the country has the wrong political ideology. Others say it’s because there are too many trans people or immigrants. Some say it’s because humanity itself is innately rotten. Others say it’s because our society is enslaved in a sinister conspiracy by Jews or Freemasons or neo-Marxist technocrats. 

Everyone disagrees on the nature of our dilemma, but we can pretty much all agree that something is very wrong. ........more.....

The European Union would prefer to cut off Slovakia and Hungary from accessing energy than to “cave” to Russia. Prime Minister Robert Fico of Slovakia paid a visit to Russian President Vladamir Putin to discuss the matter as tensions between EU nations heat up over the energy scandal.

Hungary and Slovakia are exempt from the EU ban on Russian crude oil. These landlocked neighbors are to receive oil through the Druzhba pipeline, but Ukraine has prevented these nations from receiving shipments. Lukoil may be the main supplier using this line, but Russneft, Tatneft, and Gazprom also utilize this line, leading Ukraine to intervene. Hungary was blocking aid to Ukraine as a result, but Brussels repeatedly told Hungary that it was wrong. Slovakia would like to continue receiving Russian gas through Ukraine, noting that alternative routes would cost over 500 million euros in additional fees. Yet, the EU and Ukraine would prefer to starve these nations of energy than to permit them to use Russian oil.........more.....

The UN's Human Rights Office released a report condemning Israeli attacks on hospitals in Gaza

A report released by the UN Human Rights Office on Tuesday condemned Israel’s attacks on hospitals in Gaza, saying the campaign against medical infrastructure in the Strip is a “direct consequence” of Israel’s “disregard” for international law.

“As if the relentless bombing and the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza were not enough, the one sanctuary where Palestinians should have felt safe in fact became a death trap,” said UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk.

Israel usually claims there’s a presence of militants to justify its attacks on hospitals but never provides real evidence, which the report notes. “Insufficient information has so far been made publicly available to substantiate these allegations, which have remained vague and broad, and in some cases appear contradicted by publicly available information,” the report reads.

The report found there were at least 136 Israeli strikes on 27 hospitals and 12 other medical facilities in Gaza between October 12, 2023 and June 30, 2024. The Israeli attacks caused significant casualties among civilians, including patients, doctors, nurses, and other medical staff.

The report found that by the end of June 2024, Israel had killed over 500 medical professionals in Gaza. In November, Gaza’s Government Media Office said the number of medical workers killed was over 1,000.

On top of killing medical workers, the Israeli military has also arrested many and thrown them into prisons where they face torture. Since October 7, 2023, at least three Palestinian doctors have died in Israeli detention facilities.

The report from the UN Human Rights Office came after the Israeli military cleared out and destroyed the Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, killing and humiliating medical workers in the process. The IDF detained the hospital’s director, Dr. Hussam Abu Safia, who has been taken to the notorious Sde Teiman torture prison.

Russian authorities do not believe that the fighting between Moscow and Kiev can be stopped at the moment, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said.

Peskov was asked by RIA-Novosti on Monday if there are currently any prerequisites for ending the Ukraine conflict.

The spokesman gave a short but conclusive reply: “No.”

He had reiterated last week that Russia “remains open to talks” to end the hostilities. “However, since there has been no progress in terms of Ukraine’s readiness for negotiations, we are continuing with our [military] operation,” Peskov stressed.

According to the spokesman, the dynamics on the battlefield “are self-evident: we are on the advance.”
