the empire strikes back installing those it wants in charge, regularly, over the years, and to our south that now includes brazil, bolivia and according to this writer, perhaps mexico;

When it comes to Mexico, one can at this point easily spot the signs of a brewing U.S. regime change operation. Since Mexico’s president Andre Manuel López Obrador was elected last year, he’s been thoroughly vilified by the U.S. media. After Brazil’s fascist president Jair Bolsonaro was elected, the Financial Times’ John Paul Rathbone even argued that Obrador is a greater threat to liberal democracy than Bolsonaro. Such views of Obrador have come from claims that he’s an authoritarian, or “too strong” as the Washington Post recently put it.
From the perspective of the global capitalist class, Obrador is indeed a much bigger threat than Bolsonaro. Bolsonaro’s agenda of neoliberal hyper-capitalism made plutocrats around the world celebrate his election, while the presence of the anti-neoliberal Obrador has rattled markets. In March, Obrador declared that “The neoliberal model and its economic policy of pillage and handouts are abolished” in Mexico, starting on a 2019-through-2024 plan to undo the country’s privatization and redistribute wealth. Since Obrador has given Asylum to Evo Morales and said that Morales is the victim of a coup, the U.S. has gained further interest in advancing regime change in Mexico.
As the international implications of the Bolivia coup have developed, it’s become more clear how the U.S. aims to destabilize and take over Mexico. Last week, Trump declared that he’s going to classify Mexico’s cartels as terrorist groups, opening the possibility for military intervention in Mexico. This has gone along with the Mexican right’s recent efforts to attack Obrador for a recent botched raid on the Sinaloa Cartel, a cry of outrage which the U.S. media has amplified through headlines like“Mexico loses its sovereignty to cartels.” The fact that the right-wing President Felipe Calderón was the one who helped create the rise of the Sinaloa Cartel has been omitted from the prevailing narrative about this incident...........https://www.globalresearch.ca/u-s-regime-change-operation-taking-shape-mexico/5697800

just discovered this guys site. two posts in a row from it and both seem quite well put together. your call;

I’ve struggled with whether to write this piece for a very long time, over a year in fact. I held back for reasons which will become readily apparent as the piece progresses, but in the end, truth is better than lies, and some of the lies being bandied about in the gun control camp are far more dangerous than the information I’m about to present here. So let’s just have some real talk about whether AR-15s are the most effective weapon for a mass shooting, and why they’re being used.

The Doctor’s Position

Here I present two very highly trafficked tweets which marry up with a lot of others, very often from doctors:...........http://freakoutery.com/2019/08/doctors-are-wrong-about-firearm-effectiveness-in-mass-shootings/
some statistics on large shooting events, and possible reasons to be found therein;

Mass shooters and the media are a symbiotic meme. Each reinforces the other, and some ride this symbiosis to riches while others die. And nobody talks about this, especially the media, because they don’t want to let the very lucrative cat out of the very deadly bag. But I’ll do it, since I don’t make that much money anyway. Let’s first look at my numbers, then at some good science on the subject, then wrap the whole thing up into a nice ugly, gore-soaked package. We also talk music, which it turns out, is important.

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — (TRI) The Rutherford Institute has come to the aid of an elderly Delaware woman who has alleged that Transportation Security Administration (TSA) screeners groped her upper and lower body, including feeling inside the waistband of her pants, during a security screening at Philadelphia’s International Airport (PHL) earlier this year.
In a request under Pennsylvania’s Right to Know Law, Rutherford Institute attorneys have demanded copies of any video surveillance footage of the incident, which if confirmed, could support a Fourth Amendment-style lawsuit under a recent federal court ruling authorizing citizens to sue for tortuous conduct committed by TSA agents.
Institute attorneys point to numerous incidents in which poorly trained TSA agents have subjected elderly travelers to inappropriate touching, excessive searches and aggressive pat downs. For example, TSA employees reportedly ordered a 95-year-old leukemia patient in a wheelchair to remove her adult diaper so that agents could search her. Ninety-year-old Marian Peterson, also confined to a wheelchair, was pulled out of line for a random security check and according to her son, Joe, TSA agents “groped her. All of her body: her crotch, her breasts and everything else.”
“The federal government is essentially telling Americans that they must meekly allow themselves and their family members to be groped, ogled, robbed of their belongings, and stripped of their rights by TSA agents in order to travel on a plane,” said constitutional attorney John W. Whitehead, president of The Rutherford Institute and author of Battlefield America: The War on the American People. “Mind you, these are the same TSA agents who have become infamous for stealing large sums of money from passengers’ luggage, inappropriately patting down children, and traumatizing the elderly and handicapped.”..........https://thefreethoughtproject.com/elderly-woman-tsa-groping/
its only a matter of how big and when, but don't put all of your money eggs in the empire's 'market';

It was all fun and games enriching the super-wealthy but now the karmic cost of the Fed's manipulation and propaganda is about to come due.
A "market" that needs $1 trillion in panic-money-printing by the Fed to stave off a karmic-overdue implosion is not a market: a legitimate market enables price discovery. What is price discovery? The decisions and actions of buyers and sellers set the price of everything: assets, goods, services, risk and the price of borrowing money, i.e. interest rates and the availability of credit.
The U.S. has not had legitimate market in 12 years. What we call "the market" is a crude simulation that obscures the Federal Reserve's Socialism for the Super-Wealthy: the vast majority of the income-producing assets are owned by the super-wealthy, and so all the Fed money-printing that's been needed to inflate asset bubbles to new extremes only serves to further enrich the already-super-wealthy.
The apologists claim the bubbles must be inflated to "help" the average American, but that claim is absurdly specious. The majority of Americans "own" near-zero assets that earn income; at best they own rapidly-depreciating vehicles, a home that doesn't generate any income and a life insurance policy that pays off only when they pass away.
The average American uses the family home for shelter, and so its currently inflated price does nothing to improve the household income: it's paper wealth, and we've already seen how rapidly that paper wealth can vanish when Housing Bubble #1 popped. (Housing Bubble #2 is currently sliding toward the edge of the abyss.)
Were legitimate price discovery allowed, the asset bubbles would pop, and the real-world impact on the average household that owns essentially zero income-producing assets would be minimal. Their overvalued house would fall in half, but since it still functions as shelter, the actual economic impact is minimal. As for the life insurance company's losses--where's the benefit today of an "asset" that only pays out when you die?........https://www.oftwominds.com/blogdec19/not-a-market12-19.html

Vista, CA — At least 16 women said San Diego deputy Richard Fischer used his badge and position as a police officer to commit sex crimes against them but in a plea deal Fischer and his lawyers agreed with prosecutors, not only will the alleged rapist not spend the rest of his life in prison, he won’t even have to register as a sex offender.
One woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, said Fisher responded to a welfare check call to her residence. Following the call, the officer started to randomly show up at her home on numerous occasions, ask for a hug or a kiss, and eventually ended up pushing her onto her bed and sexually assaulting her.
According to Fox 5 San Diego, the officer allegedly would meet women on the job, prey on them, stalk them, kidnap at least one, and then grope, kiss, or force the women to perform sex acts on him.
The charges stemmed from attacks between 2015 and 2017 on 16 women, some of whom he arrested and others he met while responding to 911 calls the victims made.
However, on Tuesday, instead of the 25 years he was originally facing, the now former officer was sentenced to 44 months behind bars but will be eligible for release just after 22 months.
In September, Fischer pleaded guilty to four felony counts of assault under color of authority, two misdemeanor counts of assault under color of authority and one misdemeanor count of false imprisonment. None of the charges mentioned sexual assault.
According to his victims, what he did to them was far worse than the small felonies and misdemeanors he pleaded guilty to.
Prior to August of 2018 Fischer was facing 20 felony charges and misdemeanors but three more women came forward telling their stories. As a result, prosecutors added five new charges against the defendant which included forcible oral copulation. While those allegations may or may not be true, the charges didn’t stick and Fischer eventually pleaded guilty to the much lesser crimes which didn’t carry stiffer prison sentences.............https://fromthetrenchesworldreport.com/cop-will-do-less-than-2-years-for-on-duty-sex-assault-of-16-women-wont-register-as-sex-offender/258825
