i've seen caitlin do better but here point is clear and accurate;

There’s a scene from John Steinbeck’s The Pearl that’s been coming back to me over and over again ever since I started writing about US politics. I find it amazing that this scene hasn’t become a political meme yet, given Steinbeck’s fame and given its perfect illustration of the fake two-party system that we see in western so-called democracies.
The Pearl is a short novel about a poor fisherman, Kino, who discovers the titular enormous gem in an oyster and goes to sell it to the pearl buyers in town. What he doesn’t know is that the buyers, while they have multiple offices and pretend to compete with each other, all actually work for the same owner.
“Kino has found the Pearl of the World,” Steinbeck writes“In the town, in little offices, sat the men who bought pearls from the fishers. They waited in their chairs until the pearls came in, and then they cackled and fought and shouted and threatened until they reached the lowest price the fisherman would stand.”
“And when the buying was over, these buyers sat alone and their fingers played restlessly with the pearls, and they wished they owned the pearls. For there were not many buyers really – there was only one, and he kept these agents in separate offices to give a semblance of competition.”
When Kino brings the priceless pearl to the sellers, they put on a performance, working together to deceive him into thinking it has no value in order to cheat him out of it for a ridiculously low price........https://caitlinjohnstone.com/2019/12/14/americas-two-headed-one-party-system/

israel's treatment of its indigenous population is no different in its goals than the american treatment of its own native inhabitants. in both cases its full apartheid, and the intent is to get them dead or to leave the area. the methods are a bit different but in both cases the invaders are killing the locals and stealing their resources. we burned down native homes and the israeli's send in track-hoes to destroy the palestinian homes. the list is long. go to https://alethonews.com/  and every day you will find reinforcement for my points.
two cop stories in a row and in this one it certainly seems the law has been lost being replaced by 'police intuition'. this will certainly lead us all to confidence in our future safety;

As TFTP has reported on numerous occasions, motorists in police state USA are snagging DUI charges for being stone cold sober. Roadside extortionists with badges calling themselves “experts” are the main culprits, according to several sources. Now, it seems, mainstream news media outlets are catching up on the sanctioned extortion and bravely reporting on the phenomena.
According to ABC 15 Arizona, stone cold sober drivers in Phoenix, AZ are getting DUI’s and have to spend thousands of dollars proving their innocence. It seems the source of the misunderstandings and illegitimate arrests, once again, come from Drug Recognition Experts (DRE), cops with badges and fancy titles who claim they can look at a motorist and on observation alone determine if someone is impaired.
You’d have to be God to know if someone is under the influence by simply looking at them. With that being the issue, worse still is the fact the DRE’s testimony often holds up in court without so much as a failed breathalyzer or a dirty toxicology report showing alcohol and drugs in someone’s system.
One Phoenix cop in particular, Officer David Morris has made 56 DUI arrests since April 2018. In a state which annually doles out over 21,000 DUI’s per year, Morris’ numbers are not all that astounding. It’s just that several of his alleged perpetrators whom he arrested for DUI were absolutely, completely, 100 percent, sober.
Tasha McConnell said her DUI was traumatizing. She said she was pulled over for failing to come to a complete stop at a stop sign but that Morris wanted to dig into her drug history immediately asking her what drugs she was taking, prescription or otherwise. He told her her “eye tremors” were giving it away and his supposed DRE experience made an expert at determining impairment. McConnell told the press:
It was quite embarrassing…I knew I did nothing wrong…They just kept sticking to asking me what drugs I was on…He asked me if I was on marijuana. He insisted I was on harder drugs.
Mike Toth also got arrested and charged for DUI after revealing to Morris he was taking antacids for his acid reflux. The officers involved in his arrest allegedly told him even acid pills could impair his judgement. Seriously. Originally pulled over for failing to maintain his lane, Toth described what happened next.........https://fromthetrenchesworldreport.com/drug-recognition-experts-arresting-innocent-sober-people-for-dui-at-alarming-rate-all-based-on-a-hunch/258759
once again the thin blue line produces a scenario that you couldn't make up if you tried;

Chattanooga, TN — Over the years, the Free Thought Project has reported on some utterly bizarre behavior from law enforcement. From judges stealing women’s underwear to police officers offering homeless people sh*t sandwiches, this behavior never ceases to amaze and infuriate. Adding to this long list of “weird sh*t cops do” was a story out of Chattanooga, in which a police officer stripped to his underwear and “baptized” a woman he was arresting for having a marijuana roach. After this story garnered him national attention, an investigation was launched and Hamilton County Deputy Daniel Wilkey was arrested this week and has been charged with more than 40 counts ranging from rape and sexual battery to oppression and extortion.
The Tennessean reports that Wilkey, 26, was indicted on 44 charges stemming from allegations of inappropriate behavior and assault while he was working for the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office. Wilkey has been named, along with other HCSO deputies, in four lawsuits that accuse him of misconduct during traffic stops. The alleged misconduct ranges from a forced baptism, groping underage girls and an illegal, forcible drug search, AP reports.
Shandle Marie Riley announced in October that she was suing Hamilton County government and two Hamilton County Sheriff’s deputies after she claims one of them stripped down to his underwear and forced her into Soddy Lake where he “baptized” her. Deputies Daniel Wilkey and Jacob Goforth are both named in the lawsuit.
According to Riley, the incident happened in February as she was driving to a friends house where her child was staying. Riley was then pulled over by the two apparently insane deputies who accused her of having methamphetamine. She had none.
Riley was then forced out of the vehicle by the deputies who then searched her car without consent, the lawsuit states. According to the lawsuit, Wilkey then asked Riley to “reach under her shirt and pull out her bra and shake the bra and shirt.” Riley says she asked if a female officer could be present for the search, to which Wilkey replied “the law did not require” it............https://fromthetrenchesworldreport.com/cop-arrested-on-44-charges-for-raping-women-groping-kids-sodomizing-man-to-look-for-weed/258757
virginia is beginning to look like where it may all break out;

Virginia is the new battleground of the Second Amendment. After the most recent election, the state’s House and Senate are both Democrat majorities and they haven’t wasted a moment in attempting to gut the gun laws in what has historically been a permissive state.
What are these new gun laws?
The so-called “assault weapon ban” is SB16 and has that perilously vague wording we all know to be incredibly dangerous. In some interpretations, this law, if it passes, could make illegal the ownership or transportation of any semi-automatic gun because extendable magazines are available for it – and you don’t even have to have the extendable mags.
