caitlin makes a clear and obvious point, should you have been thinking about these things. as long as the big lie is sold successfully the herd of sheep will continue to buy it;
Our predicament is simple to describe.
Since the dawn of
civilization, powerful individuals have controlled the stories people
tell themselves about who they are, who’s in charge, how a good citizen
behaves, what groups should be loved, what groups should be hated, and
what’s really going on in the world. When you study what we call
history, you’re mostly just reading the ancient proto-propaganda of
whatever kingdom happened to win the last war during that period of
time. When you study what we call religion, you’re mostly reading
stories that were advanced by ancient governments explaining why the
people should be meek, forgiving taxpayers instead of rising up and
killing their wealthy exploiters.
This continues to this day. We
fill our children’s heads with lies about how the world works, how the
government works, how the media works, and, on a deeper level, how their own consciousness works, and the entire process is shaped to funnel power toward the people who control our stories. The modern schooling system was largely formed by John D Rockefeller, widely considered the wealthiest person in modern history,
in order to create generations of docile gear-turners for the
industrial plutocratic machine. Modern schooling is essentially
mainstream media in a building; it promotes authorized narratives day in
and day out to ensure that children will have a reaction of cognitive
dissonance and rejection when confronted with information which
contradicts those narratives.
This funnels the populace seamlessly
into the narrative control matrix of adulthood, where childhood
indoctrination into mainstream narratives lubricates the way for
continual programming of credulous minds with mass media propaganda. All
the print, TV and online media they are presented with supports the
status quo-supporting agendas of the same plutocratic class that John D
Rockefeller dominated all those years ago. This ensures that no matter
how bad things get, no matter how severely our spirits are crushed by
end-stage metastatic neoliberalism, no matter how many stupid, pointless
wars we’re duped into, no matter how much further we are drawn along the path toward extinction via climate chaos or nuclear war, we will never revolt to overthrow our rulers.
That’s three paragraphs. Our predicament is simple to describe and easy to understand. But that doesn’t mean it’s easy to solve.
Everyone
has at some point known someone in some kind of an abusive
relationship, whether it be with a partner, a family member, or a job,
and we all know that helpless feeling of being unable to help someone
who refuses to walk away from the source of their abuse.
“Just leave him!” we say in exasperation. “The door’s right there! It’s not locked!”........https://caitlinjohnstone.com/2019/03/31/people-will-never-ever-rebel-as-long-as-theyre-successfully-propagandized/
i began this blogspot to save sending emails to all i suspected might need or want to review: avoid being a spammer. so consider these things i thought you might find interest in. if you like what you see, pass it on. If the power elites didn’t need the consent of the public to rule, they wouldn’t have to lie constantly about their reasons for their wars on everyone. as gore vidal said: i'm not a conspiracy theorist, i'm a conspiracy observer.

most of those who allege that they work for us in government are obvious buffoons involved in thievery but occasionally you find those who are clearly insane, like pompeo for example;
Governments that pride themselves on being either democratic or republican in nature claim that they are empowered by the will of the people, but the sad reality is that most regimes come to power based on promises that they have no intention of honoring after the election is over. In the United States we have seen President Donald Trump quite plausibly enjoy a margin of victory that was due to his pledges to end America’s involvement in senseless Middle Eastern wars and to mend relations with Russia. Neither has occurred, quite the contrary, with a serious threat that war with Iran on behalf of Israel is imminent and a relationship with Moscow that is worse than it was in the latter phases of the Cold War. Whether all of that is due to Trump’s own character and intellectual failings or instead the fault of the advisors he has chosen to listen to remains somewhat unclear.
Even when something emerges that might provide clarity over specific issues, some leading government official inevitably steps in and says something that suggests that the politicians are incapable to dealing with anything outside the scripted responses that they are accustomed to rely on.
The recently released long-awaited Mueller report on the 2016 election did not find any evidence that senior members of the Trump campaign conspired with the Russian government to change the outcome, a proposition that has largely been promoted by Hillary Clinton and her supporters. The full report, if it ever surfaces unedited, may or may not determine that there was some “influencing” activity by Moscow on the peripheries of the electoral process, but everyone agrees that the result was not materially influenced by any foreign government. Nevertheless, the wily but brain-dead Senate Major Leader Mitch McConnell acknowledged the report with “I welcome the announcement that the Special Counsel has finally completed his investigation into Russia’s efforts to interfere in the 2016 elections. Many Republicans have long believed that Russia poses a significant threat to American interests. I hope the Special Counsel’s report will help inform and improve our efforts to protect our democracy.”.......https://www.lewrockwell.com/2019/04/phil-giraldi/now-its-official-god-not-the-russians-elected-trump/

below i post a video link and preceeding comment sent by a friend. the video is about twenty minutes long;
THINK ABOUT IT!!!
America, "The United States" was founded as a Constitutional Republic. However, we have been "brainwashed" to believe we are a DEMOCRACY, which is rule by the MAJORITY. A quip which has been told many times defines this situation: "Two wolves and a sheep voting for which one will be their dinner." This does not work out well for the sheep.
Ask most Americans today, and they will say, "We live in a "Democracy". That's BRAINWASHING. Yet, all their lives they "pledge to the United States...."and to the REPUBLIC' for which it stands.....". That's "cognitive dissonance".
The "Endgame" of The "New World Order" is elimination of ALL the Races....to a "muddy brown":....mainly, elimination of the White Race:

caitlin is responding to those who speak poorly of her writing efforts here and in the process makes many good points about the subjects of those writings;
It’s a relatively slow news day so I thought it might be good to just tap out a few responses to common criticisms of the writing I’ve been doing since I started this gig two and a half years ago. I try to put all my cards on the table in full transparency so that people can decide if they trust me or like what I’m doing.
Obviously when you do what I do for a living you get truckloads of criticisms every day ranging from the reasonable and thoughtful to the downright bizarre, so I’ll only be able to focus on the most common ones:
“Caitlin touts the Kremlin line. Everything she writes is in accordance with Kremlin talking points.”
It is true that my foreign policy views often align with the foreign policy positions promoted by the Russian government, but this is only because I oppose US interventionism. Russia, like many other sovereign nations, also opposes US interventionism, because it is in their interests to do so. This is unrelated to my own reasons for opposing US interventionism, namely that it is consistently disastrous and unhelpful, and that US military violence serves as the glue which holds together a powerful empire which is oppressive, ecocidal, omnicidal, and increasingly Orwellian. More on this here.
For the record, I have nothing to do with the Russian government, and to my knowledge I have never received any money that came from the Kremlin. I’ve been offered to appear on various RT programs, but I’ve always declined because I don’t want my arguments tainted with any perception of loyalty to that network. I’m an entirely reader-funded writer, and I have my Patreon information on the most transparent settings available. The particularly Russia-allergic are unable to fathom that I’d write what I write without being paid to by the Russian government, but I really do believe the things I say and westerners really do enjoy reading me so much that they help me financially so that it can be my full time job.........https://caitlinjohnstone.com/2019/03/31/some-common-criticisms-of-my-work-addressed-by-caitlin-johnstone/

our free and fair community exists only in your imagination which the following piece makes clear to all but ray charles which is what the true believers masquerade as;
Imagine you spent two years completely screwing up at your job, I mean not merely getting every single thing wrong but loudly, proudly getting in everyone else’s face about how right you are. You’d get fired, terminated, 86’d, and Schiff-canned. But not the mainstream media. The media hacks failed for two years-plus, nonstop and without equivocation, but are they ever going to be held to account? No, they’re just going to gather in a big circle and Pulitzer each other.

Imagine you committed a racial hate crime where you
falsely accused people who didn’t look or think like you of a horrible
atrocity, and that you’d have gladly picked some poor saps with the
wrong skin tone out of a line-up and sent them to prison for decades
given the chance. Now imagine the two half-wits you hired to help you
managed to get caught on video buying their stereotype get-up and
spilled it all to the fuzz, though the fact you paid them with a check
– because you’re a criminal mastermind – was already enough to
get a grand jury to indict your sorry AOC. Now, what are the chances the
DA is going to transform your 16 felony counts into a $10K fine and a
couple days community servicing? Your chances of said outcome are poor.
They are poor because your pals are neither Mrs. Obama or Willie Brown’s
gal pal.
Now imagine that you studied really hard while the
rich kids partied and smoked dope and splattered water on you by running
their BMWs through puddles as you walked home from high school. Imagine
your last name is “Chang,” or that your dad is a soldier and not a
hedge fund manager, or that your mom is a waitress and not a TV bimbo.
Now imagine how you feel when Durwood Richguy IV gets admitted to
Harvard when he can’t count past 10 with his Gucci loafers on and you
get slotted on a waiting list for Gumbo State.
Imagine you handled classified information and you
took it home and put it on your iPad. Do you think the FBI would be
super-concerned with your feels about it and give you a pass, like
Felonia Milhous von Pantsuit got from Jim Comey, or would you be bunking
with Michael Cohen? And speaking of that Looming Doofus, if you lied
under oath in front of Congress, do you think you’d be free to wander
the country, posting stupid tweets of yourself staring at trees and
beaches?......http://www.silverbearcafe.com/private/03.19/sucker.html
