caitlin will show you in this article how you should be concerned about julian assange;

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has been charged under seal by the Trump administration. This has been revealed by a purportedly accidental copy-paste error in an unrelated court document which used Assange’s name, interestingly not long after it was reported to the Wall Street Journal that federal prosecutors “have considered publicly indicting Mr. Assange to try to trigger his removal from the embassy because a detailed explanation of the evidence could give Ecuadorean authorities reason to turn Assange over.”
Insider sources have reportedly confirmed to the Washington Post that Assange has been charged. Because those charges are sealed, it’s impossible to know what they are or how they’re being justified. If you ask #Resistance Twitter, it’s because it’s #MuellerTime and Assange is about to be arrested under some mysterious charges involving WikiLeaks’ publication of non-government, non-classified emails in 2016. If you ask QAnon cultists, it’s because Donald Trump is planning to extradite Assange so as to rescue him and deal a fatal blow to the Deep State. If you ask people who actually know what they’re talking about, however, it’s most likely for WikiLeaks’ Afghanistan and Iraq war logs and/or last year’s CIA leak publications, and most likely using the Espionage Act. This would constitute a deadly blow to press freedoms, and arguably a greater leap in the direction of Orwellian dystopia than the Patriot Act............https://caitlinjohnstone.com/2018/11/17/the-empire-keeps-proving-assange-right-about-everything/

When was the last time a monopoly or quasi-monopoly was broken up? A generation ago, or was it two generations ago?
The Ruling Class that wants us to love our servitude incites us to seek divisions: between red and blue, left and right, progressive and conservative, and so on. The Ruling Class in the mainstream media, in Washington D.C. and in Silicon Valley are experts at manipulating language and terminology to divide and conquer.
But beneath the superficial red-blue divide they are hawking, a broad-based political rebellion against the Oligarchy and their Ruling Class nomenklatura is gathering momentum. People left, right and center are awakening to two painfully obvious realities:
1. the political-social-economic system no longer works for the bottom 95%
2. the system is intrinsically unfair--rigged to benefit the few at the expense of the many.
The bottom 95% lack the political influence of the Oligarchy, and so their only means of expressing their disapproval is at the ballot box, by rejecting the approved mainstream candidates in favor of candidates who might move the needle in a rigged system.
What are the core economic issues that people are trying to solve at the ballot box?
1. The systemic lack of fairness: the growing sense that opportunities are not being distributed as widely or fairly as they once were; ruling elites now have advantages the “rest of us” don’t.
This advantage is very basic: capital has accrued most of the gains of the past decade’s growth and asset appreciation, labor’s share of the GDP continues to slide.
Much of the wealth is controlled by corporate-state cartels operating rentier skims: prices rise while quality and quantity of goods and services remains the same or decline. This is more akin to extortion than a free-market competitive market......https://www.oftwominds.com/blognov18/political-rebellion11-18.html
in this article which is a bit longer than i usually post you will discover why 'our' government isn't and is failing to follow the law for its own corrupt purposes;

Guest Post by Glenn Greenwald
The Trump Justice Department inadvertently revealed in a court filing that it has charged Julian Assange in a sealed indictment. The disclosure occurred through a remarkably amateurish cutting-and-pasting error in which prosecutors unintentionally used secret language from Assange’s sealed charges in a document filed in an unrelated case. Although the document does not specify which charges have been filed against Assange, the Wall Street Journal reported thatthey may involve the Espionage Act, which criminalizes the disclosure of national defense-related information.”
Over the last two years, journalists and others have melodramatically claimed that press freedoms were being assaulted by the Trump administration due to trivial acts such as the President spouting adolescent insults on Twitter at Chuck Todd and Wolf Blitzer or banning Jim Acosta from White House press conferences due to his refusal to stop preening for a few minutes so as to allow other journalists to ask questions. Meanwhile, actual and real threats to press freedoms that began with the Obama DOJ and have escalated with the Trump DOJ – such as aggressive attempts to unearth and prosecute sources – have gone largely ignored if not applauded........https://www.theburningplatform.com/2018/11/16/as-the-obama-doj-concluded-prosecution-of-julian-assange-for-publishing-documents-poses-grave-threats-to-press-freedom/#more-186992
in this article you will learn more fully why we no longer are a nation ruled by the constitution;

It used to be that you had to be suspected of a crime before armed government workers could force you to even speak with them.
Now, they can just say you’re “suspicious.”
This is handy – like “climate change” – because it can mean almost anything. There is no way to disprove the assertion of “suspicion.”

You just are – if an AGW says you are.

The video above illustrates how it works.
A man named Keilon Hill is walking through a neighborhood when he is approached by an AGW who tells him “someone” called in to report a “suspicious” man. No assertion, even, that anything illegal has happened.
Hill is calm and articulate; he explains he’s out canvassing for a candidate prior to the midterms.
There’s nothing else going on.
It ought to have been enough.
It wasn’t........https://www.theburningplatform.com/2018/11/16/the-crime-of-suspicion/#more-186976
if you consider yourself a patriot, and support the foolishness featured below, you may wish to tell us in the comments section why things like this are 'good for us';

The massive military games codenamed Trident Juncture have just come to a close in Norway, marking a new milestone in the rapid military escalation between the West and Russia. A total of 29 NATO member states took part in those games, fielding some 65 thousand men, 10 thousand armored vehicles and 65 military ships that were led by USS Harry S. Truman.
In a bid to explain this build up in the immediate vicinity of Russia’s borders the Natoaktual media site would try to explain the reasoning behind those exercises by stating that NATO is getting increasingly frustrated with Moscow’s persistent presence in the Arctic, as this region is extremely reach in hydrocarbons and Washington is reluctant to surrender it to Moscow. Therefore, this recent demonstration of the Western military might was nothing more but a blatant attempt to scare Russia into submission.
It is stated that Operation Trident Juncture was aimed at developing common tactics of repulsing military aggression of a potential enemy. However, no NATO member state, aside from the US, Poland and a number of Baltic states believes that Russia that remains the largest country on the planet would ever attempt a land grab in Europe, as this would be illogical. As it’s been pointed by Der Welt, a hybrid war between Russian and the US has been raging for quite a while, with cyberweapons, propaganda and proxy forces all playing a major in it, but it’s highly unlikely that it can reach a point where in it will transform into a direct military confrontation between two major nuclear powers. Against this backdrop, German journalists find themselves unable to pinpoint the reasoning behind Washington’s military buildup on the Russian borders.
Most journalists seem to agree that this senseless and comic saber-rattling was reminiscent of a blockbuster movie shooting rather than a military operation.
For instance, Der Spiegel found it rather comical that on top of erecting a platform for 300 guests, Norwegian journalists were broadcasting every stage of Trident Juncture live. In turn, the New York Times would report that ‘Cold War’ took a new meaning for US marines at these military games that Washington deemed to be extremely successful.
Although it is true that success may be measured in different ways and forms, it was of little concern for NATO commanders that the tasked force started losing ships without the opposition even showing on the horizon.
For instance, in the course of the military games Norway’s KNM Helge Ingstad collided with an oil tanker and sank. A total of eight sailors suffered severe injuries, while the crew of 138 men was forced to abandon the frigate in a bid to save their lives. It’s curious that Helge Ingstad was equipped with the Aegis combat system that should have been transmitting data from other ships and aerial vehicles to increase the survivability of the ship by increasing the situational awareness of its crew. Yet, this system has somehow managed to miss an oil tanker.
To make the matters worse, a report released by the Royal Canadian Navy states that a ‘minor fire’ broke out in a gas-turbine engine onboard HMCS Halifax in the course of Trident Juncture....

here posted is something i found here: http://xymphora.blogspot.com/
they're an aggregate site i visit frequently and sometimes reveal interesting items like this;

"Removing Billboard “Honoring the First Responders of Gaza” is Attack on Free Speech".  It is 'anti-Semitic' to complain about the murder in cold blood of first responders.  It is good to finally have confirmation of what 'anti-Semitism' means!.......https://dissidentvoice.org/2018/11/removing-billboard-honoring-the-first-responders-of-gaza-is-attack-on-free-speech/
i post all of what i found at the link at the bottom and the link to the interview is posted as well because i suspect it reveals all of what hurricane trump is composed of, and you can now read and decide as well;

Below are excerpts from Trump’s interview in Wednesday’s Daily Caller. Some of his babble made the news, but the totality of the interview itself is more terrifying than any selection of its parts. Read it all: https://dailycaller.com/2018/11/14/transcript-trump-daily-caller-interview/ and be afraid, be very afraid. If he ever had it, he has lost it.

But you look at the stories, many of the stories on the front page are about me. You know, all my life I told this story, had stories on the front page. A few, not a big deal. Which wasn’t bad, you know, maybe seven, but, you know, a few. And, you know, now if I have a few each day it’s surprisingly low. . .

I think it’s horrible what’s happening and, you know, building the wall, it’s in smaller stages, we can build it very quickly. I’m building the wall in smaller stages and we moved the military there, we put up barbed wire, we did all sorts of things. You have to have a barrier. You have to have a barrier. Look, we have a chance of, they can do presidential harassment, put very simply, and I’ll be very good at handling that and I think I’ll be better than anybody in the history of this office. And in a certain way I look forward to it because I actually think it’s good for me politically, because everyone knows it’s pure harassment. Just like the witch hunt, the Mueller witch hunt. It’s pure harassment. It’s horrible. It’s horrible that they’re allowed to get away with it. . . But voter ID is a very important thing. If you look at what happened in New Hampshire, where thousands of people came up and voted from a very liberal part of Massachusetts and they came up in buses and they voted. I said, ‘what’s going on over here,’ my people said, ‘you won New Hampshire easily except they have tremendous numbers of buses coming up.’ They’re pouring up by the hundreds, buses of people getting out, voting. Then they’re supposed to go back within 90 days. And of the people that are supposed to go back, almost none of them do. In other words, they go back after the vote is over. They go back — and I think it’s like three percent — I mean, almost nobody goes back to show that, you know, that they were allowed to vote. And so what do you do? Recall the election. Recall the election. I mean, there, you should be able to recall the election........http://badattitudes.com/MT/
