The Jean E Carroll lawsuit has to be one of the wildest things I’ve ever heard. A woman sued for rape, with zero evidence, zero witnesses, had every part of her story proven factually incorrect (the dress she wore, the bergdorf dressing room). The judge doesn’t allow the defendant to defend himself, and awards the plantiff 8x the amount she requested. This judge also threw the case out against Prince Andrew raping a teenager on Epstein island. Just watched the Law and Order episode where a woman sued a famous politician bc he apparently raped her in a Bergdorf dressing room while trying on lingerie (I’m not joking).
