Senator Josh Hawley slammed a pro-abortion witness after she labeled him “transphobic” for stating men can’t get pregnant, asking her, “Is this how you run your classroom?”

Hawley’s comments were directed at Berkeley Law Professor Khiara Bridges, who testified during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on abortion and the legal consequence of the Supreme Court’s ruling to overturn Roe v. Wade.

Bridges – who again is a professor at Berkeley – struggled with the concept of pregnancy, biology, and what a woman is, when she offered up the description “people with a capacity for pregnancy.”

The label is a new twist on the left’s favorite new phrase, ‘birthing people.’

Hawley (R-MO) asked Bridges if she believes abortion is a women’s rights issue, something that has been maintained throughout the history of the Roe debate...........more.........
