Ukrainian soldiers sold America’s HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket System) with its long range rockets to the Russians. The soldiers received $800,000 for the HIMARS and $330,000 for the rockets.  Some of the rockets have a range of 300 kilometers (186.4 miles). The warhead can have as much as a 120 Kg (245.56 pound) payload. Sanctions made it impossible for Vladimir Putin to buy one from Lockheed Martin for $5.6 million. But fortunately discounts were available from his friends in the Ukraine.

This is a photo of the M142 HIMARS. As you can see it is an MLRS (Multiple Launch Rocket System). There is a lot of variation in the types of rockets available. The Ukrainian soldiers sold Putin 33 rockets at $10,000 each so I assume Russian engineers will have fun with this as they did with the CIA drone that Iranian hackers brought down back in the Obama years.
