 Morocco played an active role in the mass influx of migrants into Ceuta through an organized and pre-planned operation at the end of July, according to a Spanish police intelligence report released by the media. The government in Madrid denies the police intelligence report.

The report from the National Center for Immigration and Borders (CENIF), which has been leaked by the media, has caused a political storm in Spain. The report has since been handed to Audiencia Nacional judge María Tardón, who is investigating whether a crime against Spain’s territorial integrity occurred in connection with the events of July 30 and 31.

According to the document, the events were not a spontaneous result of smugglers’ activities or merely a social media campaign. The police estimate that the mass border crossing was planned and took place in several waves.

 Spain’s Ceuta border invasion has morphed into a major political headache for Socialist Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez. Tens of thousands of Spaniards took to the streets of Madrid to protest the government’s handling of the crisis, potentially accelerating the political shift identified by Nomura analysts, who expect right-wing populist movements to gain traction across Europe during the next 18-month election cycle.

About 72,000 migrants, many reportedly military-age men, invaded the Spanish enclave from neighboring Morocco in late July. The scale and apparent coordination of the invasion raised concerns that Ceuta had been targeted through weaponized migration flows. The influx plunged the enclave, which has a population of approximately 84,000, into utter chaos for weeks.

By mid-August, a second wave of military-age men attempted to storm the Ceuta border, but that effort largely fell flat.

Although most of the migrants were quickly returned or repatriated, the surge overwhelmed local resources, left at least 90 people dead and sparked serious questions about Madrid’s open border policies. Italy’s continued border checks on arrivals from Spain further show how the Ceuta crisis is reverberating well beyond Spain’s borders.

 The Israeli minister of military affairs says the occupying regime will forcibly expel Palestinians from the Gaza Strip by every way possible as soon as US President Donald Trump gives the green light to the scheme.

Speaking at a conference hosted by Israeli news site Ynet and newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth on Wednesday, Israel Katz claimed that the mass expulsion of Palestinians from Gaza remains the “only solution”.

“In the end, there is no real solution for Gaza without this migration,” Katz said, noting that the Tel Aviv regime “is organized and prepared to get them (Palestinians) out – by sea, by air, by any means.”

Citing unspecified “surveys,” he also alleged that 80 percent of Palestinians living in Gaza want to leave the besieged Palestinian territory.

He further said that Trump’s approval was crucial to convince other countries to accept Palestinian refugees.

Authorities in Arizona have arrested a woman accused of opening fire on a nail salon after becoming upset over a $15 charge.

Essence Mire, 26, was arrested following the alleged attack at a Phoenix, Ariz., nail salon on Sunday, Aug. 30, Phoenix police confirm to PEOPLE.

Police responded to a report of a shooting at a business near a strip mall on Sunday around 12:30 p.m. During their investigation, police learned Mire became upset about the price of a service at the establishment and allegedly assaulted an employee, Phoenix police tell PEOPLE.

I have long wondered about the utility of readers’ comments, especially comments that the writers are too ashamed to associate with their real names.  An anonymous comment has no value.  Some comments seem to have no explanation, such as number 31 by Anonymous534. Perhaps Anonymous534 will explain why telling me to F-off and go be senile somewhere else contributes to a discussion.  Sometimes a reader’s comments make no sense whatsoever, and I wonder if the reader never learned to read. In comment #3 anonymous [155] responds to my article which raises numerous questions about the entire Zionist narrative of WW II by accusing me of “promoting the ZioJewish cause thru dis-info, mal-info, mis-info, misdirection, omission, and all the other deceit he spins like a top.” So I stand accused of promoting the “ZioJewish cause” by questioning aspects of it.

My articles are posted on the Unz Review without comments unless they are leads as the current one is.  Readers have criticized me for closing my articles from comments.  I would like to address their complaint.

First, I will make some general comments to illustrate the kind of mistakes commentators frequently make, and I will give some examples from the current comments to my article on the September 3, 2026, Unz Review...........more........
