It appears that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu finally went too far with President Trump.

While the president said a phone call on Monday with Netanyahu was “productive,” it was, Axios reported, a little more than that. Trump exploded at the intransigent prime minister, who told Trump that Israel would continue attacking Lebanon if it wished. Under discussion was Israel’s continuing attacks in southern Lebanon, which it seeks to annex as part of the Greater Israel Project.

The tensions between the US and Iran remain very taut after both sides exchanged of fire late on June 2 (early morning June 3 in the Persian Gulf). It apparently started when a US helicopter tried to stop an Iranian tanker headed for the port of Bandar Abbas. The US helo launched a hellfire missile that reportedly hit the engine room and disabled the tanker. In addition, the US also hit an Iranian communications tower on Qeshm Island.

Iran wasted no time responding… the IRGC released the following statement:

Late last night, the invading US military targeted an Iranian oil tanker near the Strait of Hormuz with a hellfire missile, damaging the engine room.

In response to this aggression and violation of the regulations of the Strait of Hormuz, the IRGC targeted an enemy Zionist-American ship, the ‘Panaya’, with missiles.

In a renewed aggression, the American enemy also targeted an IRGC communications on Qeshm Island.

In response to this aggression, its airbase and its helicopter base stationed in one of the countries in the region (Kuwait), as well as the headquarters of the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain, were subjected to an attack by missiles and drones of the IRGC Aerospace Force.........more..........

 Israeli soldiers in southern Lebanon have engaged in widespread looting and destruction, according to testimonies published by Haaretz on Wednesday.

“The method was always the same,” one Israeli reservist told the newspaper, describing how goods taken from Lebanese villages were transferred into Israel.

“But there was also another mission – an unofficial one: taking out all the loot,” the reservist said.

The “spoils” would be unloaded at the outpost, he added, so they’d be waiting for the soldiers when they went home.

The reservist said his unit operated in a wealthy village, where soldiers would first fire at homes to ensure there were no Hezbollah fighters inside.

“Once we understood the area was safe, the real mission would begin – locating valuable things,” he said, adding that soldiers often argued over what to take.

According to the testimony, troops looted rugs, armchairs, motorbikes and heaters from private homes, while shops were stripped of expensive goods.

“Even the hand soap at the outpost came from Lebanon,” he told Haaretz........more...........

Iran Decides to Take Matters in Hand

As I finished writing the article below, Iran decided to take matters out of the hands of Trump and Netanyahu.  The decision was a consequence of Netanyahu’s order to the American-provided Israeli Air Force to commence the bombing of civilian residential areas of Beirut, Lebanon, and warning the residents to flee their soon to be ruined homes.  The Israeli invasion of southern Lebanon has again been halted by the Hezbollah militia, the third time the Israeli Army has been stopped by a mere  militia. Frustrated at Israel’s impotence on the ground, Netanyahu decided to take it out on citizens in Lebanon’s capital further north distant from the battlefield where the Hezbollah militia stopped the Israeli attack. Thanks to Washington, Israel makes up for its inability to perform on the ground with its American Air Force, which its opponents of choice do not have.

When defeated on the ground, Israel bombs civilians. The only thing the IDF is good for is murdering women and children.

The Iranians told Netanyahu that Iran’s Armed Forces will not tolerate any more Israeli barbarism in Lebanon and Israel had best evacuate its own cities.  Netanyahu quickly backed down on his planned bombing of civilian housing in Beirut suburbs. Trump, who emerges each day as ever more a pathological liar tried to cover up the Iranian defeat of Washington and Israel by claiming to have convinced Hezbollah to stop embarrassing Israel by stopping their advance in southern Lebanon. There is zero chance that Hezbollah will cede southern Lebanon to Israel.

Now that the stupid Israelis assassinated all of the Western influenced Iranians, and they are out of the picture, Persia is re-emerging. Iran, not Israel or the US, is the regional power in the Middle East. Iran withstood a joint US-Israeli attack and forced the two defeated enemies to ask for a cease fire.  It was a mistake for Iran to grant one.  But the Iranians have recognized their mistake and have recovered from it............more.............
