We first heard about this back in December, but there were not as many details. Now, Sean Spicer has shared the entire saga with Glenn Beck.

In a nutshell, back in the fall of 2021, Spicer was serving on a couple of different boards. His term was set to end in November, but Biden fired him and some other conservatives in September, seemingly just to be a petty jerk.

Spicer then sued the Biden administration, for the sole purpose of losing and having a court of law affirm that Biden could fire whoever he wanted. It worked. Spicer lost the lawsuit. Then they went to an appeals court, which ALSO said that Biden, as president, had the power to fire anyone.

Fast forward to now. Trump has just fired the entire board of the Kennedy Center and they can’t do a darn thing about it. Why? Because Spicer forced the Biden administration to defend Spicer’s firing, which is now being cited as the legal precedent. It’s an ultimate FAFO.

Now that Trump is back in office I’m again seeing Democrats posting fondly about Barack Obama and how wonderful it was to have a president whose worst scandal was wearing a brown suit once. During the first Trump administration such sentiments were a great way to go viral on Liberal Twitter.

And the thing about this genre of tweet is that they’re kind of right — Obama didn’t have any “scandals” of the level we see from Trump. I have been following this dividend proposal since it was announced last night. Trump is now endorsing it but the brilliant part is that no one in Congress will try to stop DOGE audits without losing their seat in the next elections. The only reason someone would want to stop DOGE is to keep their part in this massive theft from being exposed.

What should we call this massive theft of Americans’ wealth? I am tired of labels but in this case, I hope history calls it the Great Reckoning after justice is served..........more.......

Power Forward Communities received the green energy grant despite the fact that it was founded months earlier in late 2023 and never managed anywhere near the grant’s dollar figure—it reported just $100 in total revenue during its first three months in operation, according to its latest tax filings.

Power Forward Communities’ grant was one of just eight Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund grants that the EPA doled out in April 2024 and that, altogether, totaled $20 billion. EPA administrator Lee Zeldin announced on Feb. 13 that his staff and Department of Government Efficiency officials discovered that the Biden administration parked that same $20 billion at an outside financial institution before leaving office, limiting the federal government’s oversight of the program..........more........
