Indiana House Speaker Todd Huston has announced a legislative proposal to incorporate 33 Illinois counties that have expressed a desire to secede from their state.

This initiative comes after these counties, frustrated with the political dominance of Chicago and Cook County, voted in favor of exploring separation.

A total of 33 counties in Illinois have passed non-binding referendums expressing interest in seceding from the state. These counties are primarily located in central and southern Illinois.

The movement began in 2020, with several counties holding referendums each election cycle. In the November 2024 elections, seven additional counties—Calhoun, Clinton, Greene, Iroquois, Jersey, Madison, and Perry—voted in favor of exploring separation from Illinois.

This is a good compare and contrast scenario.  Yesterday Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Vice-President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and the Trump delegation.  [SEE HERE] The bitterness, tension and anger in the room was palpable; this was a hostile meeting and the Ukranian team acted like they were meeting with enemies.

When you understand how corrupt the Ukraine officials are, and when you accept that President Trump is ending the funding to their family bank accounts, the Ukraine anger toward the Trump administration is understandable.  The Ukranian government officials hate President Trump with a passion.

When reviewing the production, it is important to remember – when Volodymyr Zelenskyy speaks to an assembly in English, his audience is not in the room in Munich. Zelenskyy is speaking to America, through the scripted remarks.

When Zelenskyy is scripted to speak to Europe, he speaks Ukrainian.  When Zelenskyy is scripted to speak to America, he speaks English. This production pattern is consistent.

President Zelenskyy spoke to the Munich Security Conference after speaking to President Trump, after speaking to Secretary Rubio and after Vice-President JD Vance stunned the European audience by calling out their weak and fearful framework of democracy.  All of that is in the background of his remarks.

Acting as if he were a NATO member, he’s not, Ukranian President Zelenskyy tells the European audience they need to plan for the U.S. to pull-back from NATO, and the European Union needs to assemble a collective “European Army.”   If Europe puts an army together, not a NATO army, but an independent European army, then the French, Germans, Dutch, Norwegians, Italians etc., can send their soldiers into Ukraine to join the fight against Russia.  Yeah, good luck with that.......more.........

Who Will Rule?  An Elected President or an Unaccountable Judiciary?

The Democrats are using the judiciary to cover up their corrupt operations and theft of taxpayers’ money.

If you will notice, the slew of judges countermanding Trump’s executive orders are themselves issuing executive orders, and they are doing so with no reference to law.  Instead, they are ruling that Trump’s executive orders are harming someone, including illegal immigrant-invaders who are not US citizens.  This is outrageous.  Harm is a subjective standard.  Moreover, the judges are overlooking the harm that their rulings do.

What can Trump do?  Like Andrew Jackson, he could ignore the judges.  He could order the federal marshall’s, who report to the president and not to the judiciary, to cease delivering the judges’ edicts and to stop providing any service to the judges other than life protection. 

The rulings by these judges are so egregious that they demonstrate both that some judges are in on the grift and the danger to Democrats from having their corruption revealed is so great that it has to be prevented by having the judiciary dictate to the executive..........more........
