the calls for making guns illegal after a 'shootin' are akin to the federalies taking your car cause your neighbor drove while drunk. its aimed at the wrong person. then if you have an operating brain you might wonder why it is that this is the way the powers that shouldn't be operate which has been their goal all along. they regularly say that they want to disarm us all, as they did in australia and now you can see what happened there when they had no means left to oppose the crimes committed on australians after they had no guns left;
The deaths of 21 people, including 19 children, at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas, are a nightmare that I can’t even fathom. It is pure evil.
Yet millions of Americans seem prepared to accept this nightmare as the new normal.
They don’t ask what could turn an 18-year-old boy into a monster who could look innocent children in the face and shoot them to death while dozens others were screaming, while blood splattered and puddled in the classrooms, while his own life ticked down to its final meaningless minute.
They just assume there are more like him – waiting, planning, marking time, ready to do the unthinkable.
And their proposed solution is to take guns away from law-abiding American citizens on the assumption that evil people will be deterred from doing evil if they can’t obtain (take your pick) either long guns or handguns (or both).
Why do I get the feeling these presumably well-intentioned people don’t know what evil is? Don’t they realize that mass murder is never normal? Perhaps more importantly, why do they think that the government can hinder evil by passing new laws that will restrict gun ownership?
The crisis isn’t that children kill other children with guns; the crisis is that children want to kill other children with guns. And more broadly, there is a moral crisis in our country because we teach children that right and wrong are no longer absolutes, that they are rather subjects for debate. And the more we debate right and wrong, the more that evil gains a foothold in our society.......more.........

That dwindling band of observers that continues to express concern over the catastrophe that constitutes United States foreign policy under President Joe Biden have come to realize how the Ukraine situation is being used as cover for interventions and other similar mischief in other parts of the world. Recent reporting, for example, reveals that the Biden Administration has decided “to reestablish a persistent US military presence in Somalia to enable a more effective fight against al-Shabaab” in spite of the fact that “there is absolutely no constitutional authority for President Biden to send troops into Somalia or drop bombs on Somalia.” Nor does al-Shabaab represent a threat to Americans or American interests.
To be sure, the emphasis on Ukraine has a certain cogency as it is particularly dangerous and could lead to nuclear devastation in a situation where intervention by the United States was not only unwarranted but also unresponsive to any actual national interest of threat. And escalate it will if the White House continues on its current path. Ukrainian government sources are now stating that the United States is preparing to destroy the Russian Black Sea fleet to end the blockade of Ukraine’s ports. The commander of US forces in Europe General Christopher Cavoli seems to be confirming that report when he refers to the preparation of “military options” to help export Ukrainian grain.
One might suggest that such a move could just be enough to start World War III and World War III would almost certainly turn nuclear very quickly. Some might consider that taking a deliberate step that would inevitably escalate into destruction of the entire planet as we know it just might be a foreign policy mistake on the part of the President Joe Biden Administration but I’m sure the chairborne warriors down at Foggy Bottom would disagree, pointing out that nothing would make old Vladimir Putin run and hide faster than a barrage of harpoon missiles imbibed with his breakfast tea.........more.........
cops don't protect and serve you. they protect and serve those in charge and it ain't in your favor;
Do United States cops have a duty to protect you?
On June 27th, 2005, in Castle Rock v. Gonzales, the Supreme Court found the police have no Constitutional obligation to protect individuals from private individuals. In 1856, the U.S. Supreme Court found in South v. Maryland that law enforcement officers had no affirmative duty to provide such protection. In 1982 (Bowers v. DeVito), the Court of Appeals, Seventh Circuit held, …there is no Constitutional right to be protected by the state against being murdered by criminals or madmen. …The Constitution…does not require the federal government or the state to provide services, even so elementary a service as maintaining law and order.”
Further, most crimes and other harms don’t happen with a cop present — unless of course, it’s part of another justice system Handschu Scam or F.B.I. false-flag entrapment scheme.
The best you can hope for is that the cops eventually identify and capture the “perp(s).” The cops aren’t very good at that — police solve just 2% of all major crimes. And, when they do, it rarely helps the victims and in fact may cost them more time and/or money if they have to testify etc.
So the best you can hope for is that the so-called “justice system” scares criminals into not being criminal — and the crime statistics prove they’re not good at that either.
