We have been discussing the embarrassing failure of the media to ask President-elect Joe Biden any difficult questions throughout the campaign and creating a type of protective journalistic cocoon around him.  That pattern has continued after the election with pre-selected reporters asking laughingly soft ball questions to Biden while continuing a virtual blackout on such stories as the Hunter Biden influence peddling controversy. Then something bizarre happened yesterday. A reporter actually asked Biden a real question. CBS News reporter Bo Erickson asked Biden about whether he would support the CDC rather than the teacher’s union on closing schools. Biden’s response was a personal attack on the reporter. This is simply not done and will not be tolerated. After all, think of the chaos: the entire press corps would be expected to ask questions and Biden would be expected to answer them.

Bo Erickson previously drew a rebuke from Biden when he asked for a response to the Hunter Biden scandal.  He simply asked ‘Mr. Biden, what is your response to the New York Post story about your son, sir?’ Biden’s response was again a personal attack: “I know you’d ask it. I have no response, it’s another smear campaign, right up your alley, those are the questions you always ask.”

Biden also blew up at a question that referred by the scandal by a NBC reporter and at a Fox reporter who asked about his son.  Those are the only known cases where the cone of silence was violated around Biden . . . until yesterday.

Erickson asked Biden a question on the way out of the room where Biden was meeting with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer: “Mr Biden, the COVID task force said it’s safe for children to be back in class.”

That would be an important and reasonable question. The CDC is not recommending the closure of schools since studies show an exceptionally low risk for such children. There are serious costs to such closures for both children and their parents ranging from the loss of educational advancement, depression, employment problems, and other issues.

Yet, for the public and press corp, the appearance of a reporter asking an actual substantive question of Biden was like watching Big Foot riding the Lock Ness Monster through conference room. The only evidence that it was real and not a mirage was Biden’s swift rebuke.

It is the type of question that you would expect the president-elect to answer when he is holding forth on his plan for dealing with Covid-19. Biden however again attacked Erickson personally for breaking the unwritten rule against substantive questions: “Why are you the only guy that always shouts out questions?”

That question sums up the situation perfectly. We should all want to know why Erickson is the only guy (other than Peter Doocy) who is asking such questions. Most of the media was openly in the bag for Biden during the campaign. The hope however was that, once he was elected, the media would rediscover a modicum of independence and integrity in their approach to Biden. It was wonderful to view this video today of gym owner Robby Dinero and about 100 Buffalo area business owners who were having a private meeting at Dinero’s Athlete’s Unleashed on the evening of November 20, 2020 to discuss what they can do to continue earning a living while under the jackboot of JWO Globalist/psychopath Commissar Andrew Cuomo, of the Communist state of New York. While conducting their meeting, uninvited Erie County Sheriff deputies and an Erie County Health Department worker enter the premises (based on an ‘anonymous‘ complaint the Health Dept. worker admitted) and start throwing around their weight citing the ‘rules’ established by Commissar Cuomo, Erie County Executive, Mark Polencarz, and Health Department Director, Dr Gail Burstein in order to ‘help protect’ the health of the people attending the meeting. The first words spoken to the Sheriff deputies and the Health Department worker were :“You’re on private property, you need to Leave.”

i begin with my usual disclaimer that i have had no president since the cia killed jfk and then provide this essay that adds up quickly if you don't block it;

 Sure, the Democrats, the Deep State, the Military Industrial Complex, the Deep State-Military-Industrial-Media Complex, the Powers that Be, or whatever term you prefer, would never stoop so low as to steal an election. We all know that.

But sure, they would sic the FBI and CIA on an opposition presidential candidate as they did in 2016.

And sure, they would file false FISA applications as they did in 2016 and 2017—a total of four times.

And sure, the FBI agents in charge of investigations would casually talk about keeping Trump out of office and having an insurance policy for such in their texts to one another in 2016.

And sure, they would pressure the Electors to change their votes from the winning candidate to theirs.

And sure, they would entrap president-elect Donald Trump’s choice for National Security Advisor, Michael Flynn.

And sure, in 2016, they—specifically the Clinton campaign, and the DNC–would pay for a phony dossier with the payment channeled (to make it difficult to identify the payers) through the Perkins Coie International Law Firm to Brit Christopher Steele, who in turn hired some Russian operatives to provide him with phony information with which to harass the new president in 2017.

And sure, Hillary Clinton would arrange that dossier in order to provide cover for her having illegally deleted 30,000+ subpoenaed emails.

And sure, they, in this case Jim Comey, would then inform the new president of this salacious dossier and then report to the head of the CIA, John Brennan, “mission accomplished” who in turn would call CNN with the news, so the dossier could now be in the news.

And sure, Director Brennan, would testify under a closed hearing to the House Intelligence Committee that no, he had no hard evidence against Donald Trump, while publicly claiming for his new employer, and CNN’s audience, that yes, he did have hard evidence against him.

And sure, the Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Adam Schiff, repeatedly—for months, and months— stated that he had hard evidence proving Trump colluded with the Russians but never did produce such evidence.

And sure, they would appoint a special counsel to then investigate—for 23 months and at a cost of $32 million—the new president with the intent of removal from office and possible criminal charges.

And sure, they would prosecute, despite the Justice Department dropping the charges some years earlier, Paul Manafort—Trump’s campaign manager—but not Manafort’s business partner, Democrat-connected Tony Podesta.

And sure, they would place poll watchers at a ridiculous distance from what they were supposed to be, you know, watching.

And sure, they would block the view of interested citizens by placing large cardboard pieces on the windows of those same poll sites.

And sure, they would publicly make a reference, hint, hint, of an election official’s place of residence for doxing purposes and the name of the school that her children attend so that thugs could harass them to get the official to change her vote on certifying the election in Wayne County, Michigan.
