Defense attorney and constitutional scholar John Remington Graham maintains that despite being two separate countries with different cultures and legislative interests, North and South had been held together by statesmen effecting compromises.  Before differing interests could break them apart, hatred had to be fomented between North and South. He states his position clearly:  “The American Civil War likewise would not have hapened if it had not been planned and fomented.”

Graham says that bankers, principally Rothschilds and Morgans, wanted a massive war that would greatly expand US national debt. By acquiring this debt and having legislation passed that would designate the debt as reserves for the issuence of money and credit, the banks would be able to use their power to expand or contract the supply of money and credit to control government and rule the country.  As the quote attributed to Mayer Amschel Rothschild puts it, “Give me control of a nation’s money and I care not who makes it’s laws.” Graham concludes that “the most important consequence of the American civil war was loss of the monetary independence of the United States. And that, as a practical matter, was also loss of political independence behind a facade of ‘freedom’ and ‘democracy.’”

To create the hatred necessary for war, the bankers financed John Brown’s Harper’s Ferry raid, the marketing of Uncle Tom’s Cabin, the 11-year long court case of Dred Scott, and a variety of other machinations that served to brew hatred awaiting a catalyst to set off war.  Graham does not identify the catalyst. this writer will present evidence to back up the snip below, and i suspect you won't like the conclusions he presents. its the logical result of years of corruption and failure to focus on anything beyond wealth creation for the already wealthy and wars for the empire though you'll have to focus clearly to see my point;

Our entire system is in the process of melting down, but it will take some time for the drama that we are watching to fully play out.  Our leaders in Washington and the bureaucrats over at the Federal Reserve will keep flooding the system with money in a misguided attempt to fix things, and this will result in exceedingly painful inflation.

The cost of everything (including essentials such as food) will be going way up, and that means that your money will increasingly become less and less valuable.

If you could print your way to prosperity, Venezuela and Zimbabwe would be the wealthiest nations on the entire planet today.

At this point, almost everyone in Venezuela is a “millionaire”, but almost everyone is also living in extreme poverty.

History has shown that wildly printing money doesn’t work, but the U.S. is going down the exact same path, and it isn’t going to be pretty.........read more..........

caitlin's essay on the powerful and how you relate to that power is worth the few minutes it will take to introduce you to a point of view i suspect you have never imagined;

I had a weird dystopian dream recently where I was running away from these evil Agent Smith-type characters who looked just like normal people, so there was no way to recognize them; they could be an old man or a child or a librarian, or anyone.

The only sign that allowed me to tell them apart from real people always came too late: if I ever talked about the dark forces I was fighting, at some point they would say the words “Well, what did you expect?”

As in, what did you expect when you disobey us? What did you expect when you try to stand against our power? Did you think we wouldn’t come after you? Did you really think you could win?

It was a really scary, trippy dream, and I’ve been thinking about it ever since.

I’ve been thinking about it because it’s such an accurate reflection of how subservience to power actually manifests in our world. You talk about abusive power structures in our world, from police brutality to corporate predation to imperialist military interventionism, and many people are receptive. But you always wind up standing across from some freaky empire zombie saying “Well, what did you expect?”

It really is like a zombie infection, like a virus of the mind which spreads through propaganda and toxic ideologies and leads people to support the abuse of the disempowered by the powerful...........read and watch more.........
