I can think of only one thing which unites Adolf Hitler and Noam Chomsky: a shared contempt for and critique of capitalist mass-media democracy. Concerning Hitler’s speeches, we usually think of rapturous exhortations to his party-comrades. However, the Führer could sometimes strike a more pedagogical note. Such was the case in a December 1940 speech on what Hitler called “the so-called democracy” in the “Anglo-French world” and the United States. Listening to this speech, I was struck at how similar Hitler’s critique of capitalist democracy was to Noam Chomsky’s. For both Hitler and Chomsky, the corporate media, oligarchic influence, and an incestuous political class make a mockery of Western capitalist regime’s claims of being “democratic.”

Copies of the speech appear to have been eliminated in the recent YouTube purges, however, a copy is still available on archive.org. (The only edition left on YouTube is one uploaded by someone who has heavily spliced the speech with his own critical commentary, who was also struck by the similarities between fascist and left-wing critiques of capitalist democracy.)

Hitler observes that, in theory, the people rule in Britain, France, and America. However, as the people cannot spontaneously make and express their opinion on a mass scale, the media comes to play a critical role in shaping public opinion: “The decisive question is: Who enlightens the people? Mexico turned down Polk’s offer, but Polk would not be dissuaded. Instead, he began looking for an opportunity to go to war with Mexico, which, if the U.S. was victorious, would permit the U.S. government to simply steal the land it was trying to purchase.

Polk’s challenge was to find a way to make it look like it was Mexico, rather than the United States, that started the war. American capitalism is based on plunder. With the continental USA plundered, American capitalism hoped to continue enriching itself by plundering Russia as it did under Yeltsin, carefully including the Russian “Atlanticist Integrationists” in the spoils in order to have support from the liberal, progressive forces in Russia for stripping Russia of its assets. But Putin more or less put a halt to the American/Israeli rape of Russia, although it still continues through the neoliberal economics that Harvard brainwashed into the Russian central bank and economics profession. Brainwashed Russian economists are the main reason Washington is able to punish a powerful country such as Russia with economic sanctions.
The dependency of American capitalism on plunder is the reason Washington seeks to overthrow the people’s government of Venezuela. Chavez established a reformist government in Venezuela, one continued by Maduro. The reformist government nationalized Venezuela’s oil reserves. Instead of the profits being carted off by the American oil companies, they were kept at home where they raised the literacy rate and lowered the poverty rate. American capitalism wants the revenues back. Thus Washington’s attack on Venezuela.
The same for Iran. The Iranians were the first and most successful in throwing off the yoke of American imperialism. They overthrew the American puppet, the Shah in 1979, and used the oil revenues for the development of Iran instead of the purchase of arms from the US military/security complex. Only 29% of American Adults believe Epstein actually committed suicide while in jail, Rasmussen found. Another 42% think Epstein was murdered to prevent him from testifying against powerful people with whom he associated. A sizable 29% are undecided. One is the notion that a ‘body double’ was found for Epstein, then was killed and posed to look like him in his jail, while the real Epstein fled.

67% of respondents said they have closely followed news reports about Epstein, while 25% have followed the news very closely.

Among Americans who have been following the story very closely, 56% believe Epstein was murdered. Men are also more likely than women to think that Epstein was murdered.

Rasmussen surveyed 1,000 American Adults on Aug. 12-13, 2019. The study started just as news of Epstein’s death was released.

The most disturbing part of the gun-grab and those who support it is that they typically support banning guns altogether because they have been taught to believe that guns are the culprit. They believe that guns “cause” people to do bad things. They believe that when people have access to guns they often act irrationally. In other words “the gun made me do it.” This type of belief is commonly found among those of the victim-mindset, and often among those who feel emotionally-reactive to the outside world.

Fearful Anti-Gunners want nothing more than for guns to just go away. They don’t trust you with guns because they wouldn’t trust themselves with guns. In this society, who should we be more concerned with, the law-abiding Citizen who has never been in trouble, or the fearful Anti-Gunner who believes that guns cause people to act irrationally?

Gun-Grabbers consistently make the argument of “what if?” “What if someone gets angry in traffic.” “What if two people have an argument?” They often imply that under these situations and others like them, people will pull out a gun and shoot someone. What they fail to recognize is that, those thoughts are occurring in their own mind. They often don’t consider the fact that rational people are able to restrain themselves. Most people look at situations like this and can’t imagine someone being so angry that they would want to kill another person, because the thought would never cross their mind. On the other hand, many among the anti-gun crowd can’t imagine someone not pulling a gun out and killing people when under stressful situations. What does this say about them?Sigmund Freud coined the term “Projection.” In short, Projection is the process of person “A” blaming person “B” for the thoughts that are occurring in the mind of person “A.” Anti-Gunners often want guns banned because they are scared to death at how they would react in the presence of a gun.
