this black writer speaks about the current living arrangement of blacks in a way you won't see on the tv;

There is discrimination of all sorts, and that includes racial discrimination. Thus, it’s somewhat foolhardy to debate the existence of racial discrimination yesteryear or today. From a policy point of view, a far more useful question to ask is: How much of the plight of many blacks can be explained by current racial discrimination? Let’s examine some of today’s most devastating problems of many black people with an eye toward addressing discrimination of the past and present.
At the root of most of the problems black people face is the breakdown of the family structure. Slightly over 70% of black children are raised in female-headed households. According to statistics about fatherless homes, 90% of homeless and runaway children are from fatherless homes; 71% of pregnant teenagers lack a father figure; 63% of youth suicides are from fatherless homes; 71% of high school dropouts come from fatherless homes; and 70% of juveniles in state-operated institutions have no father. Furthermore, fatherless boys and girls are twice as likely to drop out of high school and twice as likely to end up in jail.
One might say, “Williams, one cannot ignore the legacy of slavery and the gross racism and denial of civil rights in yesteryear!” Let’s look at whether black fatherless homes are a result of a “legacy of slavery” and racial discrimination. In the late 1800s, depending on the city, 70% to 80% of black households were two-parent. Dr. Thomas Sowell has argued, “The black family, which had survived centuries of slavery and discrimination, began rapidly disintegrating in the liberal welfare state that subsidized unwed pregnancy and changed welfare from an emergency rescue to a way of life.”.....https://www.lewrockwell.com/2019/08/walter-e-williams/how-important-is-todays-racial-discrimination/
should you be one of those rubes who believe in the american political process i suggest you consider the following train of thought;

“A certain type of person strives to become a master over all, and to extend his force, his will to power, and to subdue all that resists it. But he encounters the power of others, and comes to an arrangement, a union, with those that are like him: thus they work together to serve the will to power. And the process goes on.”
~ Friedrich Nietzsche
This process referred to by Nietzsche is the process of one class gaining power, money, and control over another. This is the goal of the political class and those who run for high office. For those few elected who do not aspire to this goal initially, they soon succumb to the irresistible lust for power and self-importance, either voluntarily, by threat, or by pressure from their true masters. Once this transition is complete, the single defining purpose of the ruling class is achieved through organized cooperation amongst the corrupt. This is the essence of politics.
The nature of the political class is like that of a partnership, where regardless of individual beliefs or desires, only one agenda is primary. The end result is a meeting of the minds of this union, so that collectively, they can achieve the single proper outcome. Individual needs are secondary, but not forgotten in this political circus, and are pursued through a type of publically staged animosity that leaves the false impression that one side is against the other. This is the most deceptive characteristic of this deadly game, but it is a key component in keeping the common voters at each other’s throats so that they are distracted and not aware of the growth of power and control over them.........https://www.lewrockwell.com/2019/08/gary-d-barnett/21st-century-politics-a-collective-bathing-in-feces/
a short pcr thought making sense as usual;

The decision by Alaska’s governor Mike Dunleavy and US president Donald Trump to sacrifice the environment for a gold mine is an extremely bad one, but I understand why it has happened. The offshoring of Americans’ jobs to Mexico and Asia has put millions of Americans into a situation in which their livelihood is not assured. To open up protected environment and national monuments to mining is Trump’s only way of creating real jobs. The problem is that the external costs of the jobs in terms of ecological damage exceeds the value of the wages and mining output. In other words, the mining cannot cover its costs, but people devoid of alternative prospects cannot think about the future. The future is down the road, and many Americans are no longer confident they are going to be here down the road. For many, it is now or never.
So, we can add to the external costs of the offshoring of American jobs that I documented in an earlier article the ecological damage from the go ahead government is giving to mining ecological fragile lands in an effort to replace some of the offshored jobs. People will blame Trump for destroying salmon and the ecosystem dependent on salmon, and Trump is in part responsible, but the real responsibility rests on the global corporations who moved their production for US markets abroad and on Wall Street that drove the process. All that capitalism has left to loot in America are the national monuments and forests and protected ecological areas.
The offshoring of US jobs was an act of suicide by the United States.........https://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2019/08/13/gold-over-life-literally/
here is a curious exploration of those who populate 'our' news and sports tv programs;

For decades many critics of broadcast television labeled it ‘The idiot box’. As Ed Norton said in a Honeymooners episode “Maybe the phrase fits.'” Well, today, perhaps more than ever before, we all must be idiots to continue viewing it.
Let’s first examine the news and news talk shows that seem to almost go 24/7 along with their cousin, the sports and sports talk shows. You stroll down the dial and you get mostly millionaire and wannabe millionaire pundits labeled as journalists, political analysts, Democratic or Republican strategists (how I just love that term), or contributors to their channel of servitude – usually CNN, Fox or MSNBC.
Amazing how every single one of these people gladly and regularly serve the Military Industrial Empire! The only delineating factor is if they are with the Republicans or Democrats… period! What in God’s name could any of these wealthy people understand how we working stiffs, or worse than that, unemployed or homeless Amerikans are going through? Really! They sit there and pontificate on the subject of a Medicare for All ideal, always finding some fault in it, whether they be from either of the two corrupt and hypocritical parties. If anyone reading this is a millionaire, or goodness, a mega millionaire, paying out $ 15- $ 20k a year for what they call a Cadillac Health Plan would be a drop in the bucket (of course we taxpayers subsidize the plan our elected officials get gratis). So, how can they ever comprehend the stress that NOT having such a plan means? Ditto for paying rent to an Absentee Landlord when that figure eats up too large a portion of one’s wages. Need I go down the list of the costs of raising a child or children on the wages most of us have to survive on? The faces we see on that idiot box do not, in most cases, have even a clue!
You turn on the sports talk shows, as I used to do too much of the time, and the dribble that comes out of the mouths of those sports journalistsis overwhelming! This economic system is so skewed that any working stiff should now realize the futility of it all. All of these sports talk shows readily accept the fact that the pro sports like football, basketball and baseball pay these players mega millions of dollars. Imagine the debates that these sports talk shills have on about some  above average player demanding a salary of $ 300 million dollars over 10 years. They don’t argue that the whole enchilada is ridiculous, when guys are earning that much to throw or catch a ball or make a basket while we suckers pay through the nose to watch.............https://www.globalresearch.ca/idiot-box/5686304

found this sumation at the end of lots of stuff leading towards it;

It would be nice if people came away from Epstein with a knowledge of the role of Jewish organized crime in creating and supporting Israel, and its complete corruption of American politics, which continues to this day.  The key players aren't businessman, they are literally gangsters (another recent window into this is the Bronfman-run NXIVM 'cult' scandal).  Always remember the key is that Jewish domination of America is startlingly weird, and needs an explanation, and bribery and Epstein-style blackmail is the explanation............http://xymphora.blogspot.com/2019/08/slept-through.html

this blogger always raises issues and ideas you won't find on the front page of the fishwrap, electronic or dead tree, and here's another;

Last week I explained that politicians were throwing $12 billion a week out the window because they refused to examine the consequences of not still having President Lincoln’s Greenbacks.
The real question is this: How do we make a popular coalition to support a non-interest bearing currency? I say we can guarantee support from Democrats for monetary reform, closing the Border and voting changes to stop the Liberal Democrat politicians from stealing 8 million votes every election.
As I said last week, politicians could cut $12 a week from federal spending if we still had Lincoln’s Greenbacks. But under the Greenback system we could also spend money into circulation. This would not be inflationary if we we increased the money supply at the same rate as the economy. Currently, the St Louis Federal Reserve Bank estimates the total M3 Money Supply to be $14,613,500,000,000.00000. But, as I said, most American dollars are overseas and we do need Debt Cancellation so I feel we could easily increase a reduced M3 Money Supply of $7.4 trillion without inflation at 4.5% which is $330 billion a year.
Currently, the Federal Reserve system allows privately owned banks to create our money. They gave themselves the right to charge us interest on money they created out of thin air. This creates a cycle of Booms and Busts. Booms are nice but they produce stampedes into the wrong sorts of business activities – McMansions but no housing for workers.  They also create busts. 3 million Americans starved to death in the 1930s.........https://vidrebel.wordpress.com/2019/08/13/convincing-democrats-to-support-borders-and-honest-elections/
certainly a possible scenario but who knows;
