An audio recording from a private meeting that was leaked to The Washington Post reportedly features US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo vowing to “push back” against surging British Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, and many are concerned that what he said sounds an awful lot like a top US official promising to interfere in the UK’s democratic process.
At a closed-door meeting with Jewish leaders earlier this month, one of the attendees asked Pompeo if Corbyn becomes Prime Minister, “would you be willing to work with us to take on actions if life becomes very difficult for Jews in the UK?”
Before I get to Pompeo’s response, I should interrupt myself to note that nobody actually believes that Corbyn would make life difficult for Jews in the UK. Anyone who claims to believe this is lying. Usually when you hear people regurgitating bullshit establishment lines they’re people who are acting basically in good faith, who are only spouting bullshit because they have been propagandized. Not so in this case. The idea that a man with a lifelong history of opposing bigotry is a secret antisemite who will facilitate the persecution of Jews if given the opportunity is a completely baseless smear campaign, and everyone knows it, including those who advance it.
The notion that Jeremy Corbyn advances antisemitism is literally just some gibberish the smear merchants made up to prevent the rise of a politician who threatens to upset existing power structures. It’s exactly as believable and exactly as legitimate as if British newspapers were constantly running headlines claiming that Corbyn is actually three children standing on each other’s shoulders inside grown-up’s clothes; the one and only difference is that they were able to make the antisemitism smear stick. Hundreds of African migrants have been arrested in Texas after a “dramatic rise” in arrivals at the southern US border, according to patrol agents.

More from 500 people from African countries were detained near the frontier city of Del Rio in the past week, said US Customs and Border Protection (CBP), which warned of a “humanitarian crisis”.

Most were families from the Republic of the Congo, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Angola.

“The introduction of this new population places additional burdens on processing stations, to include language and cultural differences,” said Del Rio sector chief patrol agent Raul Ortiz.

The recent arrivals included a group of 116 migrants detained after arriving at the southern US border late on 30 May.

An elderly man in New York was arrested for shooting two burglars in his house, not for murdering the intruders, but for shooting them with an unregistered gun.

“He was in the kitchen when he heard people in the garage coming up the stairs to the kitchen. When they got to the top of the stairs he told them to stop, but one started coming toward him. He fired three or four shots and struck both.” That’s how the scenario played out as 64 year old Ronald Stolarczyk did what he had to do when two burglars had broken into his home. This being in New York, police quickly arrested Stolarczyk and charged him not for any form of homicide, but for illegal possession of a firearm, because the gun he used to defend himself and his home had been inherited from his father and not registered.

LAS VEGAS  — A female who attended the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival on the night of October 1, 2017, where 58 people lost their lives to automatic gunfire told the investigators from the Federal Bureau of Investigation that she saw a second shooter firing a high-powered automatic rifle from a parking lot located to the east of the venue where country music singer Jason Aldean and his band were playing onstage at the time of the shooting.


The eyewitness told investigators with the bureau that she and about 20 other concertgoers managed to escape the venue grounds and head northeast toward the Tropicana during the third volley of gunfire.


“When she reached the parking lot, she saw a person whom she did not believe was an officer with an automatic high-powered rifle firing his gun,” the report says. “She ran past him and left the festival grounds ducking into the Tropicana.”

Moreover, the report mentions the presence of an additional shooter who the eyewitness believes was located underneath the kitchen or laundry room of the Tropicana the exact location that Joe Napoli and others saw brass shell casings strewn across the parking lot as I reported on November 12, 2017, in the article titled Route 91 massacre survivor saw brass shell casings strewn across Tropicana parking lot upon his retreat.
