I just received a questionnaire from the Democrats posing the question, “What’s the most important issue in the upcoming election?”
The very first multiple choice answer to pick from was – “Russian aggression and increasing global influence”  Russia, a country with a small population and an economy that is a fraction of the US or Europe is our dire threat?  Let’s just ignore the expansion of NATO onto Russia’s borders, or that the US State Dept. spent 5 billion dollar to change the politics of Ukraine.
Second most important issue asked on the questionnaire, “Protecting America from foreign cyber attacks”   Let’s ignore the fact that the NSA is spying on all Internet traffic, that the CIA has misinformation programs like, “Operation Mockingbird” and many other covert activities to influence perceptions domestically.
The third Democratic Party priority question is “China’s increasing economic and military strength”   China’s state controlled mercantile success lies directly on the twin shoulders of the US Government and it’s multi-national corporations. The US granted China, Most Favored Nation status in 1979, which gave it exposure to US markets with low tariffs. Almost immediately, corporations went to China and invested in factories because of the cheap Chinese labor while abandoning the US worker. And Bill Clinton backed a bipartisan effort to grant China permanent normal trade relations, effectively backing its bid to join the WTO.
We live in a country whereby the US Government has made it possible for corporations to pay little or no taxes, to be deregulated from government laws to protect the public, allow corporate crimes to go unpunished while maintaining vast influence over the political system through campaign contributions and corporate ownership of the mass media.

Bloomfield, MI — In the land of the free, riding a bicycle in a manner not exactly in line with the police state can and will get you extorted, arrested, or worse. As the following video below shows, even struggling Americans trying to drive from job to job are targeted by police and extorted.
Thursday night, Brian Frank had done nothing wrong, had harmed no one and was riding his bike from one job which he had just finished, to another job one town over. Frank says he saved up and bought a truck, but said that he is still trying to save up to get his driver’s license. In the meantime, he rides his bike to both of his jobs.
Because he didn’t have a light on his bicycle that night, Frank tells TFTP that he was holding his phone flashlight up to comply with the light requirement. However, this meant nothing to the Bloomfield police officer who just knew this hardworking young man was actually a criminal in disguise and needed to be extorted and arrested.

52nd Anniversary of Israel’s Attack on the USS Liberty
Israel Is a Dictatorship, Not a Democracy

Two days ago the US celebrated the 75th anniversary of D-Day with accolades to the armed forces and thanks to surviving veterans.  The country stood strongly with the military.  But today two days later is the 52nd anniversary of a day of shame when Washington turned its back on the US Navy.  It was June 8, 1967 when the USS Liberty, a surveillance ship stationed off the coast of Egypt was attacked by Israeli fighter aircraft and torpedo boats.  The Israelis were unable to sink the Liberty, but managed to kill 34 American sailors and wound 174. Seventy percent of the crew were casualties of the Israeli attack.
The White House, fearing the Israel Lobby, prevented the US Navy from going to the defense of the Liberty, thus sacrificing American lives, and further dishonored the US Navy by ordering Admiral McCain, father of the former US Senator John McCain, to orchestrate a cover-up.  The surviving crew were threatened with court-martial and imprisonment if they spoke about the event.  It was 20 years before one of the surviving officers wrote a book about the greatest act of shame the US government ever inflicted on the US military.  
In 2003, 36 years after the Israeli attack on the Liberty, Admiral Tom Moorer, former Chief of Naval Operations and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, convened the Independent Commission of Inquiry into the Israeli Attack on USS Liberty, the Recall of Military Rescue Support Aircraft while the Liberty was Under Attack, and the Subsequent Cover-up by the United States Government. The Commission consisted of Adm. Moorer, Gen. Raymond Davis, former Assistant Commandant of the US Marine Corps, Rear Adm. Merlin Staring, former Judge Advocate General of the US Navy, and Amb. James Akins, former US Ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
