People “in the know” will talk about 13/50, the old saying that despite being only 13% of the population, blacks commit 50% of all murders. If you are paying more attention you know that it is more like 13/60 (See: It Isn’t Really 13/50) as the percentage of **known** murderers that are black is at least 60% officially and unofficially is much higher. The real percentage is probably closer to 75-80% (I do some basic math on that in the linked post, checked and re-checked by Engineer Jim).

Drilling down even more, the vast majority of the murderers are not just black but also male and in a specific age range, let’s say early teens through mid 40s. Elderly female blacks are not committing a ton of murders.

There are around 40 million blacks in America. Approximately half are male. Of those males, according to Grok there are around 10 million that are 15 to 44, the sweet spot for murderers.
