have you noticed that there are people in the streets in lots of countries but you only hear about those in which the empire has a stake. you don't see the french yellow vests, or those citizens in bahrain who have difficulties with those who rule them. you hear about venezuela but not columbia, and so on;


The protesters came out again on Sunday, after a week of quiet since last Sunday’s elections, where democracy forces won a big majority of district council seats. Only one of the three approved protests had any violence, seemingly tasked to make sure there were some new tear-gassing photos for Western media.
The protesters were pushing for their five new demands, when Hong Kong authorities quickly disavowed any intention of deporting Hong Kong citizens to mainland China.
