Chicago's closure rate says chances are nine out of ten it will go unsolved. In news from elsewhere, "Detroit police: 7 shot, 1 killed, 1 robbed at gunpoint", and "13 Shot, 6 Killed in Baltimore since Friday", and all the others. Make of this what you will, I drew my conclusion a long time ago.
