I was at the Pudong Shangri-La Hotel on the evening of Sept 11, 2001(Beijing Time) for a dinner with a grad school professor.

When we walked into the hotel bar for a drink, there was a crowd gathered around a TV screen watching a live CNN footage of a burning WTC North Tower.

Then there was another explosion in the other tower with a massive fireball bursting out of the windows.

I was stunned and thought it couldn’t be real. What happened must be a high drama, mistakenly broadcast as live news.

I was glued at the hotel TV for a couple of hours and went home just to continue the live coverage of that day’s events from my satellite dish – yes, satellite dishes were still used in those days.

Over the years, the shock wore off but there was always an eerie feeling what happened wasn’t real.

It was only in 2016 when I first stumbled on the internet hit film Loose Change that ignited an interest to find out more about the event.

It was a rabbit hole.

9/11 had even more layers of mysteries than the JFK assassination, which I read up over the years out of curiosity since the 1992 Oliver Stone movie.

After reading dozens of books and browsing many more websites, I came to form a view on the event.

I started to write this essay a year ago when Tucker Carlson’s 9/11 series in 2025 generated renewed interest in the catastrophic event.

But the Carlson revisit was obscured quickly by the 9/10 killing of Charlie Kurk, by a “lone gunman” in the same fashion as Lee Oswald and Sirhan Sirhan.

On September 11, 2001, my wife called and woke me up, screaming, “It’s the end of the world!” I was sleeping, after working the graveyard shift at the data center, which I did for many years. She urged me to turn on the TV. I saw then Mayor Rudy Giuliani walking through the dust covered streets of New York City. Was I dreaming?

It took me about two minutes, until I first saw video of the South Tower collapsing, to realize this was a giant psyop. The notion that 19 crazed Arabs, armed only with box cutters and plastic knives, had brought these wonders of modern engineering down, along with blowing a hole in the Pentagon, was something I immediately rejected. I’ve written about 9/11 several times before on Substack, and delved into it deeply in both Hidden History and American Memory Hole. Most of my readers are familiar with the monstrous holes in the official story. Building 7, hit by nothing, collapsing just like Buildings 1 and 2. Not to mention that the BBC reported live that Building 7 had collapsed, before it did. You can see it standing in the background behind the reporter. As USA Today helpfully explained, “BBC mistakenly reported that World Trade Center Building 7 had fallen before it happened.” Well, sure that’s understandable- to accidentally report events before they really take place, shortly afterwards.

All “conspiracy theorists” know about Building 7. But what about Building 6? Kurt Sonnenfeld, a videographer who worked for FEMA, took lots of videos, and claimed that the estimated $650 million worth of gold stored in Building 6 had already been emptied, by someone, prior to the 9/11 attacks. Sonnenfeld’s wife Nancy was shot and killed on December 31, 2001, and the authorities attempted to pin the murder on him. The murder charge was eventually dropped due to lack of evidence, but the prosecutor was still coming for him. Sonnenfeld fled the country, and was later granted asylum in Argentina. Sonnenfeld gave informed lectures on 9/11, talking about the mysterious power outages and evacuations in the weeks leading up to the events, and the fact that two close Bush family members controlled the company in charge of security at the World Trade Center. He charged that “hundreds of government personnel” were in New York City on September 10, preparing for one of those familiar “drills.”.........more...................

The shock of September 11, 2001, was so great that, despite some initial skepticism, it was four or five years afterward that professional and scientific independent investigators presented evidence that the official narrative had serious problems.  Over the years as the evidential problems for the official narratives grew in number and magnitude, I reported the findings.  On many anniversaries of the event, I reminded readers that there was more evidence against the official narrative than there was evidence for it.  I am not going to repeat all of this information today, as it would be book length.  Instead, I am going to show you a different way to think about what is in some ways a defining event.

Before we begin, keep in mind that as early as 2006–long before evidence began accumulating that the official narrative was a lie–a Zogby Poll found that 42% of Americans believed the government concealed and refused to investigate important evidence.  How could they believe otherwise with New York’s Chief Fire Marshall protesting that in violation of law the forensic evidence contained in the debris of the Twin Towers and Building 7 was carried away and shipped out of the country before it could be investigated?  How could they believe otherwise when the Cheney/Bush/Zionist Neoconservative administration refused for one year to even convene, not an investigation, but a politically selected committee to ratify the official narrative, especially when afterward the co-chairman of the committee and chief legal counsel wrote books saying the committee was set up to fail, that information was withheld from the committee and that the committee had considered criminal referrals?

Of course, the whore American media reported all doubts as conspiracy theory.  Any skeptic of the official narrative was a “conspiracy theorist,” as an AI check using the official narrative as the data base will tell you today.........more.........

 The shockwave reaction to the Alternative für Deutschland landslide election victory in Germany is absurdly out of proportion. It also defies any easy categorization of conventional right, left, or centrist politics.

What it does signify is a massive popular protest against the warmongering political establishment in Europe and the United States. The Western establishment has right, left, and liberal adherents, so it is confounding to interpret the AfD election win as reflecting a precise position on the political spectrum.

Western establishment politics and media have labelled AfD as a “far-right party,” a label which the party rejects. It claims to be conservative, nationalist, Eurosceptic, anti-immigration, and seeking more reasoned foreign relations.

The far-right epithet seems to be a more politicized term that the establishment uses to demonize opponents, as it does in France and elsewhere. “Far left” is also used as a term of abuse to marginalize opponents. But what does it mean when those in the “liberal center” are more often the ones who are more warmongering and supportive of censorship, repression and anti-democratic powers?

The AfD’s historic victory at the weekend in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt, which could see it taking regional governance for the first time, is certainly a watershed event. The party was only formed in 2013 and is now tipped to win national elections in 2029.  That’s pretty “seismic.”

Its populist politics are gaining support among German voters. AfD is the biggest opposition party in the Bundestag, the federal parliament. It has made major gains in other state elections across Germany, although its stronghold is in the east of the country.........more.........

 President Donald Trump said Wednesday, Sept. 9, he believes the war with Iran will end “immediately” after the U.S. midterm elections in November.

The remarks came as the conflict approaches its sixth month, with no clear end in sight and oil prices rising as a direct consequence of hostilities in the Strait of Hormuz [2].

The president’s prediction ties the duration of the military campaign directly to the domestic political calendar, a statement that raises questions about the administration’s war objectives and the timeline for de-escalation. Trump also linked the rising price of oil to the conflict, stating that prices will come down after the elections [2].

The war, which began with U.S. strikes on Iranian assets, has expanded to include Iranian attacks on shipping lanes. Tehran recently announced that it targeted 10 vessels near the Strait of Hormuz, including two U.S. warships [1].

 As the world sinks deeper and deeper into what’s looking more everyday like World War III, President Trump is showing signs of having lost touch with reality.

At the very moment in history when America needs sound and sober leadership, we have a man in the White House who can’t seem to tell the truth about anything. His fabrications are not even well-thought out lies; they’re just starting to sound like incoherent gibberish repeated by a mindless mockingbird.

His latest nonsensical statements include a promise that the Iran war will end “after the midterm elections,” and that he will pay every adult in America $5,000 if the Republicans win the midterms. He also said this week that when the Iran war ends, gasoline prices in America, now sitting at record highs of $4.28 a gallon on average, will plummet to $2.00 a gallon.

Rather than anything based on sound policy or wise strategy, this sounds like a series of childish bribes. Vote for my guys in November and I’ll do everything I’ve been unable or unwilling to do my first two years in office.

Does anyone still take any of his ramblings seriously?

Sometimes I have to pinch myself to keep believing I am not trapped inside of a bad dream.

Trump has stated over 40 times that he has already won the war with Iran, that he has decimated their economy, crushed their air force, assassinated their leaders, obliterated their nuclear program, sunk their entire navy, and eliminated all effective military capability.............more..........
