 vance blows out some party line. wonder how much will come to be, we do;

Vice President JD Vance appears for a lengthy interview with Miranda Devine to discuss a variety of current issues that have presented themselves to the Trump administration. [Full Video Here]

In the segment below, Vice President Vance talks about the Ukraine-Russia conflict, and the significant challenges dealing with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.  As noted, Zelenskyy was used to getting everything he demanded from the former Biden administration; however, no end to the conflict was present in the prior policy.

President Trump is seeking to end the conflict, and has aligned policy toward that end.  Both President Putin and President Zelenskyy must be willing to engage with each other diplomatically to resolve the issues.  There is no current intention between both of the leaders toward a negotiated settlement.

President Trump has no intention to push U.S. policy into the middle of the conflict between Zelenskyy and Putin. ............more............

On Saturday, Washington DC Mayor Muriel Bowser announced an emergency order, with a city-wide curfew for anyone under 18, beginning Saturday night.

The curfew will go into effect at 11pm Nov. 1, through 6am the next morning, and will continue nightly until Nov. 5. The order gives Metropolitan Police Chief Pamela Smith the power to identify “high risk” areas in the city, where she can begin the curfew as early as 6pm..........more...........

larry johnson makes a large point just in the first pargraph;

Underestimating one’s opponent, whether it is a sporting event or a military confrontation is a recipe for disaster. If you watch the mainstream media in the West, you are subjected to a flood of claims by former military and intelligence officers about the weakness and incompetence of the Russians. If you take time to watch my interviews with Russian military correspondent Sladkov and retired Russian Colonel Basurin, they eschew making such characterizations of the West… The US military in particular. For them, war is serious business and requires that one respect the opponent.

The news that the Pentagon has approved shipping Tomahawk missiles to Russia is a potential disaster for the West. One thing I heard from most of the people I interviewed during my time in Russia is that the deployment of this weapon to Ukraine is a red line for Russia because that missile can carry a nuclear warhead. If President Trump decides to do this, and one or more of those missiles are launched into Russia, then the Russian response will be severe and is likely to extend beyond Ukraine. Because the Russians believe that a Tomahawk can only be launched with direct participation by US military personnel, I cannot rule out the possibility that Russia will retaliate by hitting the continental US if the Tomahawk hits a sensitive target in Moscow or St. Petersburg… Donald Trump is playing with nuclear fire...........more..........

 canada is having some problems you might say, but maybe one of those is recognizing where they are;

1. Unfortunately, a lot of people better connected than I to the political elite in Canada, are coming to the same depressing conclusions we at this site did a year or so ago. The Conservative Party of Canada does not appear to want a political solution for any of the issues caused by the communist revolution of 2020. Pierre Poilevre is looking like a healthier and more credible controlled op than Doug Ford. Certainly a smarter one.

I was really hoping to be wrong on this one.

Here is a tweet from Billboard Chris. A remarkably serious and intelligent man. Not to mention dedicated beyond the imagination of most mortals...........more...........
