 in case you had any doubts about pelosi;

 larry johnson isn't optimistic about chances for peace in ukraine. having the empire cheering for more doesn't motivate peace thoughts;

The editor at the New York Post, who signed off on this headline, or came up with it himself, either displayed a profound ignorance of history or was making a snarky observation about Ukraine’s lack of strategic thinking. I think it is the former, but I welcome your thoughts about the latter.

The Japanese attack on December 7, 1941 was intended to destroy the US aircraft carriers berthed at Pearl Harbor. But those ships were not there… they were at sea. Instead, the Japanese decimated and damaged several battleships. This attack launched the United States into World War II. I will defer discussing whether President Roosevelt allowed this attack to take place in order to rally the American public to join the war in Europe.

Japanese Admiral Yamamoto reportedly said the following in the aftermath of Japan’s great victory:

I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve….We have won a great tactical victory at Pearl Harbor and thereby lost the war.

Ukraine’s destruction of an estimated 10 aircraft of varying vintage changes nothing tactically or strategically to give Ukraine hopes of stopping the Russian offensive on the ground. All it did was enrage the Russian public and further their commitment to defeating Ukraine and NATO. The Russian leadership has played this surprisingly cool. The Russian negotiators met their Ukrainian counterparts in Istanbul on Monday and did not raise the attacks as an issue in the talks............more......

 true? certainly a possibility but the predictions from those with some success in that area believe this summer it will all be coming to a head, as it were;

Western nations are pushing Russia into a nuclear response to cover up planned financial Armageddon

“Huge events over the weekend, coordinated with Ukraine, have triggered Russia’s nuclear defense doctrine and pushed the world much closer to nuclear Armageddon.

“How many people realize that by destroying a significant number of Russia’s strategic nuclear bombers, Ukraine (and whoever helped them) just caused a crisis-level imbalance in “nuclear parity” which means that Russia, right this very minute, is no doubt debating whether to launch a nuclear first strike on western nations. Ask yourself who benefits from nuclear strikes on western nations. It’s obvious. Western leaders are already on the verge of currency collapse and a collapsing debt market. They need a cover story to explain away the great reset / Great Taking. They need Russia to nuke the west so that when all your assets vanish and somehow end up in the hands of the government-connected ultra-wealthy banksters, they can say it isn’t their fault. “Russia did it!” The satanic-pedo-lunatics running the UK are leading this effort, and Trump is actually trying to stop it and focus on trade, not war, as far as I can tell. Consider the importance of getting out of fiat currencies if you want to have any assets left at all…” .......more........

 this brings up all sorts of conclusions, none of which favor cheeto;

That puts that to rest. During a White House press briefing today, Spokesperson Karoline Leavitt was asked if Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy notified President Trump in advance of the attack on Russian nuclear-capable long-range bombers. Leavitt replied curtly, “he was not.”...........more.........

 understanding politics might be as easy as untying a gordian knot;

I said when the alignment first took place, there would come a point when Elon Musk turned on President Trump and attempted to split MAGA into oppositional teams so that Musk could achieve his agenda.  Elon Musk is currently mining for team members.........more.........

 peace talks;

This was the mood in informed Moscow – only a few hours before the renewed Istanbul kabuki on Russia-Ukraine “negotiations”. Three key points.

  1. The attack on Russian strategic bombers – part of the nuclear triad – was a US-UK joint operation. Especially MI6. The overall tech investment and strategy was provided by this intel combo.
  2. It’s patently unclear whether Trump is really in charge – or not. This was confirmed to me at night by a top intel source; he added that the Kremlin and the security services were actively investigating all possibilities, especially who issued the final green light.
  3. Near universal popular consensus: Release the Oreshniks. Plus waves of ballistic missiles.

Predictably, the Istanbul kabuki came and went like a tawdry spectacle, complete with the Ukrainian delegation in military fatigues and Defense Minister Umarov incapable of speaking even mediocre English at a messy press conference after the brief 1h15 meeting. The Turkish Foreign Ministry epically described the kabuki as concluding “not negatively”.

Nothing strategic or politically substantial was discussed: only prisoner exchanges. The mood in Moscow, additionally, was that top Russian negotiator Medinsky should have presented an ultimatum, not a memorandum. It was, predictably, interpreted as an ultimatum by the Beggar of Banderastan; but what Medinsky actually handed out to the Ukrainians was a de facto road map memorandum, in 3 sections, with 2 options for the conditions for a ceasefire, and 31 points, a great deal of them expressed in detail by Moscow for months.............more.........

the ukies won't surrender so this will continue for some time. it took the russians ten years after 1945 to clear out the ukie partisans left from ww2;

Days before negotiations towards an and of the conflict the operational tempo of the war in Ukraine has increased.

During the last week of May the Russian forces took 18 settlements and over 200 square kilometer. During the last 24 hours at least another 3 settlements have changed hands. The Ukrainian army is no longer capable to hold its defense lines. Its situation is deteriorating day by day.

On Saturday a Russian missile attack hit a Ukrainian military training camp. It killed or wounded about 100 soldiers. It was the second time the camp had been hit. Other agglomerations of Ukrainian forces had previously experienced the same fate. Still, Ukrainian forces beyond the frontline keep bunching up to become targets of long range weapons..........more.........
