Unfortunately, there is a toxic stew in Washington DC that too few understand. The events today transpire just as many Trump supporters begin to realize the unfortunate outcomes of nominating unserious people like Pam Bondi, Kash Patel and Dan Bongino.
President Trump reluctantly stated earlier today that he will nominate a different person as U.S. Attorney for the critically important Washington DC office, as the collective republican opposition to Ed Martin has proven to be strong.
Ed Martin was what President Trump needed; a very serious, deliberate and qualified person to confront the Deep State UniParty. Those core skillsets are why the Republicans did not support him. However, on the optimistic side, if there is ever a special counsel to be appointed, I suspect Ed Martin will be leading candidate.........more..........

As I write this, it is 2215 hours Eastern in the United States. The war in Europe officially ended at 2301 hours Central European Time on May 8, 1945. In Moscow, the time was 0001 hours, May 9, 1945. That is why the Russians celebrate May 9, while the West commemorates the end of the war on May 8.

In a few hours, more than 100 million Russians will assemble and march in memory of their ancestors who made unimaginable sacrifices to defeat Hitler’s Nazi regime. Only one other country experience comparable civilian casualties… China. According to scholarly sources, about 12 million Chinese civilians died as a result of Japanese military actions, occupation policies, massacres, and war-induced famine and disease between 1937 and 1945. Some sources suggest the total number of Chinese deaths (including both civilians and military) could be as high as 20 million, with the vast majority being civilians. The Nanjing Massacre alone resulted in the deaths of at least 100,000 to over 200,000 Chinese civilians and disarmed soldiers in just a few weeks in late 1937 and early 1938.

US President Donald Trump says he is willing to reach an agreement with Iran that allows Washington to “blow up” Tehran’s nuclear energy facilities.
“It’s that simple,” he said during an exchange with conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt, on Wednesday.
“I would much prefer a strong, verified deal where we actually blow them up…,” Trump said, referring to Iran’s nuclear facilities.
Deal’s outcome: Either ‘Nice aggression’ or ‘vicious aggression’
The 78-year-old former president added that there were only two possible outcomes, namely “blowing them up nicely or blow them up viciously.”
This is not the first time, Trump and other American officials have urged “total dismantlement” of Iran’s nuclear energy program. The US president had last made the insistence during comments on the NBC’s “Meet the Press” program.
