i'm getting tired of posting zionist crimes that go unanswered but here are some more;
Israel has been waging a war on Gaza’s ability to govern itself and maintain law and order as a part of its 18-month-long genocidal campaign. The broad objective of this strategy has been to create a civil and humanitarian vacuum in Gaza that would lead to chaos and lawlessness. The intended effect, in Israel’s eyes, is either total social collapse, the spread of criminality, or the emergence of an alternative “clan”-based leadership in Gaza instead of Hamas. Israel stands to gain from any of those scenarios.
To make sure this administrative vacuum is maintained, Israel has launched periodic assassination campaigns targeting members of Gaza’s civil government — the police force, the security forces, the Civil Defense, and the healthcare system.
Israel has instrumentalized the fact that all these civil branches of government in Gaza, by definition, fall under Hamas control, given that it is the ruling faction in the strip. Consequently, it labels any Gaza civil servant as a “Hamas operative,” an association that has allowed Israel to legitimize the targeting of an entire category of civilian workers. They have included firefighters, medics, nurses, doctors, first responders, police officers, and other civil servants who were killed in the line of duty.
Over the past several months, Mondoweiss has collected testimonies from officials and field operatives in the Gaza government’s civil branches, documenting Israel’s targeting campaign and its sanctioning of looting and lawlessness to exacerbate famine conditions in Gaza. On one occasion, Mondoweiss was also able to obtain testimony from a young man who joined a group that looted aid convoys in December 2024.
Our reporting shows that dismantling these components of Gaza’s civil services has been a key objective of Israel’s genocide. On the other side of that process, the Israeli army has either encouraged or turned a blind eye to armed gangs that have intermittently looted aid trucks, marketplaces, and warehouses in Gaza throughout the past 18 months of war. ..........more........

During Donald Trump’s press gaggle in the Oval Office, he mentioned in passing that the Houthis had called begging the US to stop bombing, and Trump, gracious man that he is, agreed. The Houthis have surrendered… at least that is the spin from the White House. NOT SO FAST. Trump, true to his style, was doing a major gaslighting job.
Here is what really happened:
The cease-fire agreement with the Iran-backed Houthis announced today by President Trump was reached over the past several days with the mediation of Oman and negotiations led by U.S. Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff, officials said.
A Pentagon official confirms that both the Navy and Air Force have already been ordered to cease any further hostile action against the Houthis.
It was not the Houthis who cried, Uncle Sam… it was the United States. It was easy for the Houthis to promise to stop shooting missiles at US vessels because there will no longer be any US vessels in the Red Sea. This reminds me of the US declaring victory in Vietnam on April 30, while the North Vietnamese army took control of Saigon. Score this as a victory for the Houthis. Since March 15, the US lost seven drones, three F/A-18 Hornets and expended an estimated $3 billion while flying more than 1,000 sorties. While scores of Yemeni citizens were killed by US bombs, and Yemen suffered significant damage to infrastructure, the US failed to break the Houthis’ will to fight. (NOTE — CNN reported today that another F/A-18 Hornet was lost at sea, which is why I list “three” instead of “two” in the preceding sentence.)

There was a “heated discussion” at the cabinet meeting last night between the IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir and National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, after the latter declared it was unnecessary to allow humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, Hebrew-language media reports.
According to Channel 12, far-right minister Ben Gvir said that “there is no need to bring in aid [to Gaza], they have enough. Hamas’s food stores should be bombed.”
IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir reportedly responded: “These ideas endanger us.”
The Kan public broadcaster says Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu intervened and said to Zamir: “Excuse me, every minister here can state their position and disagree with officers.”
Zamir responded, apparently to Ben Gvir: “You don’t understand what you are saying. You are endangering us all. There is international law and we are committed to it. We cannot starve the Strip, your statements are dangerous.”
Netanyahu reportedly repeated that ministers can disagree with Zamir’s position and added that if ministers make comments that are against the law, it is the attorney general’s job to clarify the law for them.
Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara responded that Israel is “obligated to bring aid into the Strip under international law.”
Kan reports that Cabinet Secretary Yossi Fuchs was then asked to note for the record that “no minister intends to violate international law.” It is unclear who asked him to make that declaration.
Ben Gvir responded: “There is enough food there. I don’t understand why anyone who fights against us should automatically be given aid. Where exactly is this written in international law?”............more......
