 Iran's top cleric who oversees the state, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei appears to have shut the door on opening new negotiations with Washington in the wake of fresh Trump-ordered sanctions intended to disrupt Iran's oil network and to take exports "down to zero".

"First, negotiations with the US have no effect on solving [Iran’s] problems. The reason? Experience!" Khamenei said on Friday. He explained that during the Obama presidency, "we sat down and negotiated with the US for about two years, and an agreement was formed. In this agreement, the Iranian side was very generous and gave many concessions to the other side."

During Trump's first term, he unilaterally pulled the US from the 'bad' JCPOA nuclear deal, which happened in April 2018 - after which a "maximum pressure" campaign was imposed on Tehran. Trump this week revived this pressure campaign via ramped-up sanctions.

Khamenei continued, "But the US did not carry out that agreement. The same person who is now in office tore up that agreement. We must learn from this experience."

He then emphasized, "One must not negotiate with a government like the US government. Negotiations with it is not wise, it is not intelligent, and is not honorable."............more..........

What is taking place reminds me of General Patton, who my father was with from North Africa to Berlin. I grew up with my father, often referring to General Patton, and he explained the strategy. It appears that someone who has advised Trump perhaps had similar knowledge of Patton. What I grew up being told was that achievers have a decided purpose in life, and their goals are driven by determination. My father use to quote Patton to me. President Trump told New York Post reporter Miranda Devine that Alvin Bragg and Letitia James are barred from entering federal buildings.

This means they would not be able to enter the US Attorney’s Office, federal courthouses, the New York FBI Field Office, federal correctional facilities and prisons.

“This is to take away every right they have [revoking security clearances] including they can’t go into [federal] buildings,” Trump told Miranda Devine.

“New York Attorney General Letitia James and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg join the new group of eight Democrat foes Trump plans to punish by revoking any access to classified information and barring their entry to federal facilities,” The New York Post reported..........more.........

Kara Swisher and Scott Galloway, both of whom are regular guests on CNN, recently called for the arrest and imprisonment of Elon Musk’s DOGE workers, during a podcast.

As you’ll see in the video clip below, these people are absolutely miserable. Both of them are well known Trump haters.

They are obviously furious about the work that DOGE is doing and that they are powerless to stop it. That’s what this is really about. These people have no control and no power anymore, and it’s driving them insane.
