 the atf has a very nasty record and history so this is just a blip on their day but not for the family;

(Editor’s Note: Another day, another ATF story it seems, hardly any of them painting a glowing picture of the agency and how it operates. Thanks to SAF’s Investigative Journalism Project and Lee Williams for sharing this one.)

Mark “Choppa” Manley is a gun owner, a gun collector and a Second Amendment advocate who has more than 70 legally owned firearms stored in a gun safe at his Baltimore home.

All of his firearms comply with both federal law and the laws of Maryland. He is always very careful about that.

Manley works as an intervention specialist for his local school district. His day begins early and ends late, usually around 7 p.m., because he also coaches girls’ flag football.

Manley and his wife, who did not want her first name used in this story, get up early for their jobs. For them, November 21st began just like any other workday.

The Raid

“The morning of the raid started just like any other morning,” Manley told the Second Amendment Foundation’s Investigative Journalism Project.

“My wife went downstairs around 4:30 a.m. to make coffee,” he said. “I was sitting on the side of the bed, getting myself together.”

“Mark, there’s someone outside the house!” his wife yelled. She saw people moving around in their front yard. .........more.........

 larry johnson tells you why he doesn't trust the fbi anymore;

It gives me no joy to write this, but it must be said — the FBI is a broken law enforcement institution and should be dismantled. I believe the same about the CIA, but that’s a topic for another day. Based on the FBI’s conduct over the last eight years, I find no reason to trust anything that FBI officials say with respect to the recent attacks in New Orleans and Las Vegas. Yes, I think both acts qualify as terrorism, but I have little confidence that we are getting, or will get, the true story.

I worked closely with the FBI during my time in the Office of the Coordinator for Counter Terrorism at the Department of State (1989 -1993). During my first months on the job, I was one of two State officers writing country clearance cables regarding the investigation of the bombing of Pan Am 103, i.e., a message to one of our embassies requesting permission for FBI agents to conduct an investigation in a particular country. In addition, I worked on exercises and real-world missions with members of the FBI’s Hostage Rescue Team who served as members of the Foreign Emergency Support Team (aka FEST). I also had the privilege of coordinating with Floyd Clarke, who was the Deputy Director of the FBI, on implementing an advertising campaign for the Terrorism Rewards Program. The FBI agents I worked with were honorable, professional men. They were apolitical.

That is not the case today. The leadership of the FBI has become a gang of partisan, political hacks. What is the evidence? Let’s start with the Russiagate investigation, which was the first big warning sign for me. The FBI, working with the CIA and the United Kingdom’s MI-6, carried out a deliberate operation to sabotage the campaign and subsequent Presidency of Donald Trump. The FBI knowingly lied on multiple FISA warrants and suffered no consequences...........more..........

 hamas isn't dead;

Hamas is making a substantial comeback by recruiting new forces, Channel 12 reported and The Jerusalem Post confirmed on Wednesday night.

Combined with forces from Palestinian Islamic Jihad together, Channel 12 said on Wednesday night that Hamas was up to between 20,000-23,000 fighters.

Information obtained by the Post indicated that recently, numbers were closer to around 12,000.

Over the last 15 months, there has been a gulf of a few thousand between the IDF and Netanyahu, casting doubt on the estimates.

In June, the IDF said that between 14,000-16,000 Hamas fighters had been wounded.

The Post has learned that over 6,000 Gazans have been detained by the military during the war. At least 4,300 remain in custody, and at most, 2,200 were returned to Gaza, deemed less dangerous.

Numbers don’t add up

Given that in October 2023, the IDF said that Hamas’s full forces were 25,000, the numbers do not come close to adding up – unless one takes into account that Hamas has recruited almost an entirely new force, fully replacing its old one.........more..........

the empire, in our hypocrisies, have decided some many years ago that we would fight, invade, bomb and destroy any country we choose because we've found them to be bullies, threats, incompetent or some other function, wanting, and here we are to save the day. like might mouse, and just as believable. in the process we've become the thing we've said we oppose. we don't even know who we are and what we've become so how could we decide how the rest of 'them' should be or become.
